Your complete lack of dignity?” Aubrey smiled, sharp and glistening. “You don’t share well.” “And you don’t listen well,” he countered. “But I’m happy to keep breaking bones until you do.” She lunged. A blur of cold, a rush of wind— They collided, claws locking, fangs bared, the impact sending a shockwave through the alley. Aubrey’s fangs snapped inches from his throat.
