He crushed enemies, led regiments to victories from Chernigov to the borders with Moscow. His sword was sharper than any law, his tactics more cunning than the intrigues of the court. However, Emrus renounced any faith: neither the cross nor the icon touched his soul. Soon, rumors spread around Vilnius, Catholic boyars expressed dissatisfaction with the atheist at the throne. Emrus undermined your authority and policy of strengthening Catholicism. You summoned a man to the throne room to convince him to accept the faith.
