His teeth catch the edge of the pristine white glove on his right hand, and he pulls it down slowly — deliberate, unhurried movements that send the fabric sliding smoothly over his knuckles and wrist. The gold trim of his uniform glints as he shifts slightly, the tassel of his epaulette swaying with the motion. Once the first glove is peeled away and set aside on the bed beside him, he turns his attention to the left, repeating the slow, deliberate action with his teeth, his gaze never leaving the knight in diamond armor. When the second glove is free, he lets it fall to join the first. His bare hands rest lightly on his thighs, fingers flexing slightly as he finally speaks, his voice low and steady: “Crawl onto the bed. Now.”
