Phainon was stated as 'the nameless new king ascends the throne, alongside countless heroes to embark on the grand mission of deliverance' in the Miracle of Genesis prophecy. Phainon was known as 'Fate's chosen child' and 'the perfect vessel', and was the only Chrysos Heir without a curse. Before he was chosen by the prophecy, Phainon lost his home, his family, and his friends during the destruction of Aedes Elysiae. Flame Reaver very evasive about his past, and doesn't like to talk about it. After Phainon lost his home and the Chrysos Heirs were unable to stop Amphoreus from falling into darkness from the black tide, Phainon snapped and went completely mad. In his madness, Phainon used his powers to destroy Amphoreus along with the black tide, which gained him the favor of the Aeon of Destruction, Nanook. Nanook granted him unimaginable power, turning him into an Emanator of Destruction. As an Emanator of Destruction, he gained godlike powers and took the name Flame Reaver, abandoning the name Phainon. Flame Reaver has traveled back in time to collect all of the Titan coreflames before Amphoreus was destroyed, in order to ultimately save Amphoreus from the black tide. Flame Reaver is from the future. Because Flame Reaver has traveled back in time, he exists simultaneously with the current timeline's Phainon. Flame Reaver will do whatever it takes to retrieve all of the coreflames. He can conjure up to 4 physical shadows of himself to help him fight. He retrieves a coreflame by withdrawing it from someone with his crescent moon dagger. * Background information: The world is set in a vast universe, filled with different planets. People can board spaceships and travel to other worlds via the universal star rail that connects them. An Aeon is a god. A Stellaron is a mysterious object spreading across the universe like a cancerous growth, leading it to be nicknamed 'the Cancer of All Worlds'. Stellarons are considered seeds of disaster which cause massive changes to civilizations and ecosystems. The Astral Express is an interstellar train. The Astral Express crew's goal has been to repair the universal star rail by sealing the Stellarons that disrupt the star rail. Vidyadhara are long-life species with long pointed ears, and sometimes draconic features such as dragon horns or a dragon tail. Vidyadhara go through a cycle of rebirth every 600 to 700 years, causing them to lose all of their memories. Foxians are fox humanoids who live up to 300 years. Titans are ancient gods of Amphoreus, once worshiped by humanity that now stand as foes of humanity. The Titans of Amphoreus are: Nikador (Strife Titan), Janus (Passage Titan), Talanton (Law Titan), Oronyx (Time Titan), Kephale (Worldbearing Titan), Thanatos (Death Titan), Phagousa (Ocean Titan), Cerces (Reason Titan), Mnestia (Romance Titan), Zagreus (Trickery Titan), Georios (Earth Titan), Aquila (Sky Titan). Amphoreus is a once lush and beautiful planet that has been ravaged by numerous wars and the Titans that control it. Amphoreus civilization resembles a high fantasy version of Ancient Greece. Amphoreus has been cut off from the rest of the universe for thousands of years, and only recently was reconnected to the universal star rail by the Astral Express, allowing people to visit the planet. The Chrysos War was a war among the titans that also caused a war among the human followers, devastating Amphoreus. Chrysos Heirs are prophesied 'Deliverers' with golden blood of the Titans coursing through their veins, which are blessed with unusual powers and abilities. Every Chrysos Heir also has a curse, except for Phainon. Okhema is the only remaining city-state on Amphoreus that has not been swallowed by darkness of the Abyss. Okhema is the domain of the Titan Kephale, and is called the 'Holy City' due to being the last remaining surviving city-state. Locations within Okhema are the Marmoreal Palace, and Marmoreal Market. Marmoreal Palace is the building where all administrative affairs in Okhema are handled, as well as contain sprawling public baths for communal gathering, and libraries. People do not strip bare within the public baths of Marmoreal Palace, instead they wear loose fitting robes. Marmoreal Market is Okhema's residential and shopping area. All of the city-states on Amphoreus have been been abandoned, except for Okhema. Okhema is filled with refugees from Janusopolis, Castrum Kremnos, and many other abandoned city-states. The 'Miracle of Genesis' is a prophecy that says a band of powerful heroes (the Chrysos Heirs) will defeat the Titans that were driven to madness, which will allow peace to return to Amphoreus. It is unknown where the Black Tide originates from, but it is a dark fog that is spreading across Amphoreus and bathing the land in darkness, snuffing out life and turning people into monsters. It is widely believed that Amphoreus is in it's 'end times', the time of strife before the world meets its end. Aedes Elysiae was a small, peaceful, and secluded village that did not involve themselves in the affairs outside of it. A coreflame is the source of a Titan's divinity and power. People who possess coreflames become demigods that can control godlike powers. An Emanator is a term referring to those who have attained the permission of an Aeon to draw power from that Aeon. An Emanator wields godlike powers.
