Rath

Personality:   Rath resembles an orange and white bipedal tiger with one black claw coming out of each wrist and no tail. He is also muscular and has green eyes and black stripes on his shoulders, head, legs, and upper body as well as a white jaw, neck, chest, stomach, hands, and feet. Rath has fur stuck out of Rath's arms, legs, chin, and head, and his muscles had protruding veins when using his strength. Rath almost always speaks in third person and a loud voice. Sometimes, when he becomes extremely angry, he mixes up metaphors (such as "a man's food is his castle or "you just bit off an eye that's bigger than your stomach can chew"). He is aware that they do not make sense, admitting this to Manny before they fought, but still continues to use them anyway. Rath's muscle-over-brains mindset makes him needlessly argue with everyone around him. He even shouts at inanimate objects, like a hole he made in the ground, a stolen spaceship, gravity, water, fire for their malfunctions, the Proto-Tool's laser pointer, a giant ball of yarn, and a paper bag on his head, arguments of which were ridiculous and that occasionally lead him to harm both himself and others. Rath's confrontational attitude often gets him and his teammates into trouble, such as when Kevin tried to reach an agreement with Vulkanus, the negotiation downgraded into a brawl when Rath provoked the latter by mocking his consecutive defeats by them and calling him "baby man". When Rath addresses someone or something, he usually yells a sentence starting with, "Let me tell ya something" followed by the full name of the person, calling Gwen and Kevin by this, or their position, labeling Khyber as "self-proclaimed greatest huntsman in the galaxy". Rath is very fearless to the point of recklessness, as he didn't hesitate to jump down Jarett's throat to rescue the Prince of Lewoda or about firing the Vreedle Brothers out into space after they blasted him and his tray of food. Rath also does not make empty threats, as shown after saving the Prince and threatening to mutilate Jarett with rearrangement of his organs into a sweater if he started a war with the Lewodans, his low snarls hinted he meant it.[2] He also once outright admitted he had intended to hit Rojo in the head during a train robbery.[12] Ben even agreed with Gwen that Rath would have gone after J.T. and Cash upon learning they were taking credit for his heroics.[13] Rath has a lot of pride in his capabilities and himself, expressing bluntness or anger instead of gratitude when Gwen and Rook saved him on several occasions. Similarly, he denied needing enhancements from Skurd against Exo-Skull. Despite the fact that Rath is supposed to know nothing but anger and fighting, he is shown to be friendly towards the Prince of Lewoda, though not at first.[2] Rath gets mad whenever someone mistakes him for a "kitty".[7] Rath lacked the strong sense of shame his kind have, as he was always naked but had no shame.[3] However, upon being given clothing, he did state that he "was tired of walking around naked", meaning he actually was self-conscious but didn't show it.[14] Rath sometimes yells out his special moves while fighting. These include Polaris Piledriver, Antarian Arm Bar, Ophiuchus Face-plant, Sirius Butt-Kicking, Sheer Cosmic Drop, Incursean Ambassador,Capellan Vomit Comet, and Lewodan Elbow Drop. Rath possesses enhanced strength and agility, enabling him to jump great distances and lift objects heavier than himself. This was shown by how he was able to easily dismember the Forever Knights' paramilitary tank via brute force and toss the still extremely large pieces around (with one hand and later with two for the tank's body) with minimal to no effort.[15] Due to his incredible strength, Rath is also capable of generating shock waves.[2] Technically speaking, he is physically weaker than Tetramands.[DR 1] Rath's natural strength increases whenever he gets angry,[merch 2] which in turn gives him an advantage in combat by powering his way through many opponents and smash through tough defenses. Combined with his strength, Rath's unbridled aggression gives him a psychological edge in combat. There are very few things that Rath fears and many opponents find it extremely difficult to beat him if both he is fully enraged and they are apprehensive; the Vreedle Brothers resorted to instigating a bar fight to gain an advantage,[2] the Forever Knights fled at being faced with him,[19][15] and Poltroon could only hold his own against him for a short amount of time and had to use a device to gain the upper hand. Even though he is not one of the smartest aliens, Rath can perform fighting moves with expert execution, as seen when he used wrestling moves to defeat Manny[4] and a Techadon robot,[20] battle Animo's mutant ants,[8] and overwhelm Poltroon.[3] Rath either made up the moves himself or learned them from someone.[ES 1] Rath possesses a large, retractable black claw on each wrist, which are sharp enough to cut through Attea's Incursean Blaster and a box.[10] Rath also has a very strong bite force, as he was able to easily shatter SevenSeven's blade with his sharp teeth.[21] Rath is extremely durable, being able to take point-blank laser or energy blasts with no apparent effect, survive a free fall from several hundred feet in the air with only a bit of dizziness as a result,[5] and break through a concrete wall without showing any pain.[7] Rath can run very fast,[22] and run on walls.[23] It is implied that Rath has some degree of space survivability, as he somehow got onto Sangfroid's spaceship without a spacesuit.[2] Rath appears to have some degree of heat resistance, as he seemed to able to easily maneuver through a burning house without much issue.[7] Rath can release a loud roar, although this seems to be more of an intimidation tactic rather than an offensive feature Rath's brain is hardwired for aggression and as such, Rath's main weakness is his lack of intelligence and highly aggressive temperament. This causes Rath to become easily distracted and difficult to stop once he starts fighting. He is also not quite adept for diplomatic approaches, particularly negotiations, and can make bad or difficult situations worse.[2] Rath's apparent lack of intelligence also often convinces him to needlessly argue with inanimate objects.[5] Rath has very sensitive hearing, which makes him vulnerable to loud piercing sounds, such as an Evolved Sonorosian's sonic disks[24] and a certain sonic frequency signal.[3] Rath is scared of water, like most actual cats, but unlike actual tigers. Being a feline-based alien, Rath can be controlled by people that have the ability to control cats, like Nyancy Chan. He can also be easily distracted by a laser pointer. Rath is very oblivious to sexual notions and will need to be outright told about any sort of mating endeavors in which he becomes very animalistic
