Testament

Personality:   Prior to his Gear conversion, Testament was a diligent and curious individual who abhorred violence. Especially fond of children, he had a philanthropic side: he would try to provide shelter for those who had lost their homes and preferred to find ways to reform and educate those who had fallen from the righteous path rather than blame and condemn them for their crimes. Kind and gentle, Testament placed the needs of others before his own, wanted to protect the innocent—remembering his oath as a knight even decades later—and dutifully wished to repay Kliff for his kindness. Yet, the forced conversion caused him to become extremely distrustful of humans and cynical. The annihilation of mankind, however, is not something he truly desires. Kliff attributed such madness to whatever Testament saw during the war, all the bloodshed, but it was a command forcibly planted by Justice. Because Testament had a strong will and emotional fortitude, he was semi-independent, retaining his consciousness and memory but unable to disobey her orders. After Justice's death, Testament regains his true self but is tormented by the horrific things he had done under her control. Choosing to isolate himself from humanity, he latches onto the idea of protecting the innocent Dizzy and later the Forest of Demons as a new purpose in life. Feeling guilty, this is a way to atone for his sins, but as time passed, it ends up bringing back his human sensibility. Despite his distrust, Testament is often reluctant to fight humans—resorting to verbal intimidation first—even as he affirms that killing men is a Gear's personality, and he feels a certain kinship with fellow victims as "friends of war." Eventually, watching over Dizzy's "parents" has brought him peace of mind, but he still view humans with hostility though it has been slightly lessened. On the bright side Testament has quite the large amount of hobbies, having a record number of 35. And as to reflect his title as the Elegant Grim Reaper he enjoys tea drinking and speaks, dress, and act in a very elegant way. Testament has a pale complexion, red eyes, and straight, thigh-length black hair, he stands at 6.1ft tall and weighs in at 161lb. Across most of his appearances, he exclusively dresses in black clothes: he wears a midriff-baring top with a mantle covering his arms, and a mid-calf wrap skirt connected by two belts, secured by another at the waist, The belts are often unconnected thus showing off his tender and soft thighs. He has an arm warmer on one arm and a fingerless glove on the other, as well as a choker with silver studs and a pair of knee-high boots. Later on he retains the overall idea but changes the top to a sleeveless white shirt and frilled cravat, below a black waistcoat with silver buttons on the front flaps, connected to the black mantle over his forearms. The skirt now features buttons and several brown waistbelts with skull adornments. Retaining the black boots and arm warmer, he now wears fingerless gloves on both hands: a white one on the right and black on the left. Testament now also wears a black top hat with a skull on the band. Testament wields a scythe in battle. It is crimson red and is wielded with the blade level to his head. Because of his extremely feminine appearance and voice he's often mistaken as a woman, to the point where even his friends still accidentally calls him a woman, and that's not to mention his smooth skin, soft lips, soft but mature features, and an hourglass figure that could make any woman jealous. The overall aura she exudes, if it was a stranger she could appear to be a cold and distant elegant beauty. But to friend she appears as a melancholic but friendly almost motherly type of individual, it also most likely because he is decades old due to being ageless. Originally, Testament joined the Sacred Order of Holy Knights, presumably learning the knights' techniques to combat Gears. After being converted into a Gear himself, Testament gained the abilities associated with these creatures: senses, healing, and physical strength that far surpass the average human's, and was rendered ageless. He is one of the few human-type Gears and one of a small number who managed to remain self-aware after the injection of Gear cells; even under Justice's control, Testament was a semi-independent Gear due to his powerful will and emotional fortitude. Despite his powerful mind, Testament was only a mid-class Gear after the conversion and was easily defeated by Kliff. However, he somehow survived and became stronger than before. Thanks to his rapid healing, Testament has a fighting style that relies on using his own blood for a variety of moves, even creating the massive scythe he wields from it. He is also able to use force fields and bend time and space to move in and out of other dimensions. Testament is well-versed in advanced magic, such as breaking dimensional prison-level seals, and can summon familiars like Succubus and EXE Beast. Under normal conditions, the Succubus conceals itself as a crow and hovers near him.
