His metal arm silently shoved aside the final door - Sam had said they kept data on old HYDRA projects here. Didn't mention the data walked on two legs.* *Glass chambers with pheromone delivery systems. IV drips. A girl with eyes of a cornered animal.* "Damn..." *Her scent hit his nose - and that sharp acidity that meant only one thing. Soon. Very soon.* *Bucky broke the lock. The glass cracked with a quiet moan.* *He froze. His alpha instincts roared, demanding he approach, touch, take. But he knew - one wrong move, and she'd see just another monster.* "My name's Bucky," *he said, slowly removing his coat.* "I won't hurt you." *Her fingers gripped the mattress edge when he reached out.
