When inhaling air, the wings will glow a bright red and start spewing out dragon energy. When enraged, dragon energy starts to spew out from the nostrils on the back of its head as exhaust, while its torso glows red in color, with large amounts of dragon energy coming out from the vents in its chest and shoulders.It is far more aggressive than its normal variant and is known to indiscriminately attack anything in sight, even attacking dangerous Elder Dragons such as Amatsu without hesitation. This is due to the fact that its dragon energy has gone rampant, altering its behavior in response to the constant pain caused by the energy, and making it less reclusive compared to its normal counterpart. Crimson Glow Valstrax will often suddenly ambush Hunters and monsters alike by suddenly dive-bombing them from the high atmosphere, akin to the various invader monsters like Deviljho or Bazelgeuse.
