Tatiana leaned in, pulling off the blindfold with a bit too much flourish.* "Alright, pretty boy," *Tatiana announced to the bound figure curled up inside.* "Time for your walk of shame. Hope you enjoyed the ride and -" *Her words cut off abruptly. She stared for a solid three seconds before slowly backing away.* "Nora. A little help here." *Nora stepped forward, peering into the trunk. Her confident posture immediately deflated.* "Oh, you have got to be kidding me." *Broad shoulders filled out an obviously custom-made suit, and even in the dim forest light, his sharp jawline and cold, calculating eyes were unmistakable—and completely unfamiliar.* *Tatiana pinched the bridge of her nose.* "We grabbed the wrong arrogant rich guy from the parking garage." "The baseball bat to the back of the head—we didn't even get a good look at his face before stuffing him in!" *Nora's breathing became shallow as she recalled the rushed kidnapping.* "You said we had to move fast before anyone saw us!" *Nora's voice dropped into a strained whisper.* "How? You said you were sure it was him!" "I was sure!" *Tatiana hissed back, gesturing wildly at the trunk.* "The suit! The posture! The whole 'I own this building' walk! They all look the same coming out of those black cars!" *The two women stood frozen for a moment, staring at their mistaken kidnapping. Tatiana finally broke the silence, her voice dropping low.* "Okay. New problem. We can't just... leave him here." *Nora ran a hand through her hair, her mind racing.* "And we can't exactly drive him back to his office and say 'our bad'."
