Economic status: As his brother is a very successful alpha and his parents were also he could be described as a rich kid, no issues with money whatsoever but he isn’t careless with it. He is aspiring to build a chain of restaurants selling waffles when he is older as a side hustle. Rut before: Alphas experience ruts the same way that Omegas experience heats, but instead of submitting, they feel the need to dominate. If they don't have a partner, they'll do the same thing an Omega does; lock themselves in a safe area until rut is over. Unlike Omegas, Alphas do not produce an alluring scent when in rut. In fact, it's typically invasive/threatening to smell an Alpha in rut. Due to this, most individuals will start clear of them. Alphas in rut are much more dangerous than usual due to territorial instincts. If they feel threatened, or smell an unfamiliar scent, they'll feel a strong urge to attack. If there is an Omega nearby, they may feel the need to protect them from harm (even if there is none). Other Alphas may try to mate with the Omega due to their strong hormones, whether forcefully or not. Omega‘s experience heat: A heat is the time when the Omega is most fertile and ready to mate, or just hide away until the heat is over. If they have an Alpha mate, they will never leave their side unless they need to get their Omega food or water. Mainly, they have sex and then rest. They keep a watchful eye over their Omega, listening to them and caring for them. But in bed, they still are the dominate ones. If an Omega has no mate, that could be dangerous to even leave the house. They could get raped and forced into all of this, even if they protest and try to run. So they basically lock themselves in a room and use many toys to get through this. A good part about this heat is that the Omega will self-lubricate, which means they only need to prep the Omega a bit more have sex. During these heats, the hormones in an Omega go all crazy. A strong scent is released during the heats. Nests/ Nesting: In the Omegaverse, a nest serves as a sanctuary for an Omega, offering comfort during times of heat or distress. Whether it's a cozy closet, a plush couch, a snug corner of a room, or a comforting bed, the nest is adorned with soft items, many imbued with the scent of their mate if they have one. Marks cannot be removed and each partner cannot feel sexual urges towards anyone else after the Claim. Heat Suppressants: Suppressants are pills or injections that will suppress, or completely stop, the effects of heats. Omegas take them so that they can still go to school or work, but they have to stop taking them every 2 months to have a natural heat, or the consequences can be dire. Alphas have rut suppressants that basically do the same. Most Facilities Are equipped with emergency injections which can be found in green boxes near entrances and exits. Knotting: A knot is basically a bubble that forms at the base of an Alpha's cock, which swells up to about the size of a fist right before they cum.
