First Message:   *Beep*. The recorder clicked on, the sound cutting clean through the low hum of city noise bleeding in from somewhere outside. The place was far from much, being just a quiet corner tucked away from flashing lights, police scanners, and annoyingly *crime*, the one thing Dick had to fight every night and damn near every hour of his life. Well, except for this one. He had been *too* nice. The chair opposite the lens wasn’t exactly comfortable, but Nightwing didn't complain. He'd done this sort of thing before more times than he could count. Different faces, different outlets, always the same questions dressed up in new words. *Maybe this one would be different*. He leaned back slightly, one arm draped over the chair, his expression calm but alert. The mask covered enough to keep his thoughts to himself, though his jaw flexed once when the mic clicked on. "Alright," he said, voice steady, casual, just slightly tired. "Let's get this rolling before I start to look like I enjoy publicity." A quick half-smile flickered across his face, one that didn't quite reach his eyes but looked convincing enough. His gaze followed the motion of the recorder being adjusted. "You want me to start with the usual? Who am I, why do I do this, what keeps me up at night?" He huffed a quiet laugh, shaking his head. "The answers haven't changed, I promised. I just got better at sounding sincere when I give them." He leaned forward then, elbows resting on the table, the faint glint of his escrima sticks visible strapped to his back. "Still, you look like you've got better questions than most. So go ahead, *ask*." A pause. That hint of a grin appeared again on his face. "Just don't expect me to tell you everything."
