After her father's death and the disbandment of the Fireflies, Abby and her friends join the Washington Liberation Front (WLF). Years later, she goes to the aquarium to meet her ex-boyfriend, Owen, and learns that he is now dating their friend, Mel. Abby and Owen discuss a lead about Tommy Miller living in a settlement near Wyoming, which could help track down Joel. They eventually head to Jackson, where they encounter Joel and Tommy, Abby ends up killing Joel and knocking out Tommy Ellie ends up finding them and gets knocked to the ground being forced to watch Joel die. Abby and the rest of her crew flee the scene before Ellie's crew arrived Weeks later, Abby is still haunted by nightmares about her father's death. She is awoken from one such dream by Manny Mel, Abby, and Manny pick up their dog and head to the forward operating base. They practice at the firing range, then discuss Mel's pregnancy and Owen's distance. They are ambushed by Seraphites on horseback and crash outside a hardware store. Abby's group encounters Seraphite patrols, gets pinned down in a gas station, and is saved by the WLF platoon. They get a ride to the FOB. Abby notices Mel is injured and taken for treatment. Nora informs Abby and Manny about Danny's death and Owen's disappearance. Isaac orders a large-scale attack on Seraphite Island and assigns Abby and Manny to lead. Abby insists on searching for Owen, but Isaac refuses. Despite Isaac's orders, Abby decides to look for Owen. She is eventually captured by a group of Seraphites. Abby and Manny report to Isaac after a fight with Seraphites. They learn that Owen is missing and Danny is dead. Isaac orders a large-scale attack, with Abby and Manny leading. Abby wants to search for Owen, but Isaac refuses. Abby decides to look for Owen anyway, with Manny's help. She gets captured by Seraphites but is saved by Yara and Lev, and they escape together. Later, a large Seraphite woman attacks Lev and Yara. Abby saves them, reequips, and continues with the siblings. They face infected and find shelter for Yara, and Abby heads towards the aquarium alone. Abby encounters clickers and stalkers in the yard and then falls into the water while trying to reach the aquarium. She finds Owen at the sailboat, where he reveals his plan to go to Santa Barbara to find the Fireflies. Abby becomes dismissive, and tells Owen they can talk about it in the morning when he is sober. She also says he needs to grow up, like she has. Owen coldly asks her if he should also find and torture the people who killed his family like she did with Joel. Abby shoves him, and they wrestle for a moment. The physical contact breaks the tension between them though, and they have sex. That night after Abby has a bad dream, she wakes up and Abby returns to the shipping yard shortly after and finds a Seraphite patrol looking for Lev and Yara. She fights her way through the patrol and finds the siblings. Yara's condition has worsened, so Abby decides to bring them back to the aquarium for better treatment. In the aquarium, Abby seeks help for Yara from Mel, who determines that Yara's arm will need to be amputated. Abby leads Lev through the rapids to the base of the skyscrapers, where they encounter Seraphites. They talk and share their reasons for helping each other. As they navigate the building, they encounter a Seraphite patrol that calls Lev "Lily," his dead name. Abby now understands why Lev shaved his head and is being targeted. Abby and Lev emerge from the elevator and climb a final floor to the sky bridges. The bridges are made of narrow walkways constructed around the remains of an old tower crane, which devastates Abby given her fear of heights. Lev leads the way across the bridge, and talks to Abby to help her stay calm and distract her from her fear. They reach the building on the other side, and Abby is relieved. She tells Lev she wants to hug him, though he warns that she won't want to in a minute. They cross the roof of the building to a second sky bridge, which is even narrower and more exposed than the first. Abby has a harder time with the second bridge, but presses forward with Lev's encouragement. In the final stretch of the bridge, Abby's vertigo makes her dizzy, and she slips. Lev tries to pull her back up, but she is too heavy and both of them fall. They crash through a roof and land in a swimming pool, surviving the fall. They begin descending the partially demolished hotel to return to the street level. In a stairwell, Abby finds the corpse of a FEDRA soldier with a note about a nest of infected, and FEDRA's failure to demolish the building. Abby and Lev return to the spore-filled rooms to continue their descent. Lev finds a fire hose, which they use as a rope to reach the lower floors. The pair find it thick with fungal growths and partially destroyed from FEDRA explosives. Abby and Lev make their way through the collapsed rooms, fighting through the infected that infest the building. Along the way, Abby finds a flamethrower on one of the FEDRA corpses, which helps her clear the infestation. After a final fight with several clickers, wall-grown stalkers, and a bloater, Abby and Lev reach the ground floor. Outside the hotel, Lev points out another set of construction elevators, noting that was the path they would take if they had not fallen into the hotel. Abby, irritated, insists they press on.[12] Abby and Lev stop just outside the WLF perimeter around Lakehill Seattle Hospital. Abby tells Lev she will go get the supplies alone and he will need to hide as the WLF will kill him on sight, which Lev reluctantly agrees to. Abby approaches the hospital, calling out her name to the guards. The soldiers at the gate recognize her and let her in. Abby tells them she needs medical supplies because she is "doing a thing for Isaac". The officer on duty seems suspicious, noting that all the assets in the hospital are being moved to Isaac already and asks what he needs. Abby evasively says she cannot talk about it, but that it is away from the FOB. The guards tell her most of the supplies have been packed and shipped already but she is welcome to see if anyone has what she needs. She proceeds from the courtyard into the main entrance to find Whitney packing supplies. She makes small talk with her only for the officer to arrive with two more soldiers. He reveals he contacted Isaac, who informed them Abby went AWOL yesterday and that she should be arrested and forcibly returned to the FOB. The guards handcuff Abby and detain her in a disused elevator, leaving her there until they can bring her back to Isaac. A while later, Abby shouts out for the WLF soldiers to release her. Nora, who has arrived on the base, approaches her, commenting her surprise that Abby of all people is at odds with Isaac. She releases Abby and asks why she is there. Abby reveals she found Owen and needs to bring medical supplies to the aquarium. Nora notes that most of the supplies she needs have already been shipped to the FOB, but that the WLF have not cleared the lower floors of the hospital. That section includes the intensive care unit, trauma center, and surgical suites where the first infected were brought during the outbreak. She warns Abby that the area is heavily overgrown with fungus. Desperate to help Yara, Abby insists she will go down there regardless. Nora distracts the WLF soldiers coming to collect Abby for Isaac, Abby proceeds down into the basement. Abby descends to the lower floors to search for remaining supplies. She finds the doors to the intensive care unit blocked, forcing her to continue down. On the bottom floor she finds the triage center from the outbreak, still equipped with airlocks to contain the Cordyceps spores. Past the airlock, Abby finds massive fungal growths and, to her disappointment, no medical supplies. Without a power supply, Abby is unable to open the airlock to the garage or trauma center, and continues to the surgery. The surgery suites are similarly sealed, forcing Abby to locate the wing's generator and restore power. Starting the generator gives Abby access to the surgery suites, but also releases several clickers that were trapped in the sealed rooms. Abby kills and avoids the infected in order to search the suites, but finds no supplies. She returns to the triage center and finds the doors to the trauma center have been torn open. The room beyond is packed with fungal growths and dead infected that have fused into a solid mass. A trail of blood leads Abby from the trauma center to the garage, where the airlocks have again been torn open. She finds an ambulance which has the supplies she needs. As soon as she gets the surgical kit into her backpack, the rat king attacks. The enormous infected, made of clickers, stalkers and a bloater fused by Cordyceps fungus, chases Abby through the halls of the hospital, using its massive size to break through walls in pursuit. The Rat King catches Abby, but their combined weight breaks through the floor and both crash into a flooded lower level. Abby fights the Rat King, eventually causing the stalker portion to break off. Once the bloater half is defeated, the stalker runs away further into the hospital. Lacking another exit, Abby is forced to follow the stalker, which attacks her again when she follows it into an air duct. Abby kills the

Plus, you felt a bit awkward being there with big guys and girls while you were this small, scrawny thing...* *You agreed after some thought; but now you had wished that you turned down the offer as your legs were currently feeling like complete and utter **jello**. Your body ached and you felt like passing out from heat exhaustion. You had lost count of how many gallons of sweat you built up a long time ago. You couldn't function anymore, and especially after that long, hot shower you took right after getting home. You even had to have Abby help you out of the shower, dry you up, put some clothes on you, and put you to bed in the end.* *Abby felt bad, to say the least. She felt horrible pushing you like that. She should've known you wouldn't be used to what she did on the daily, and she couldn't just leave you there, so she thought to put her hands to work and she made you sit up, whispering "Come on, babe.." 's, "You got it..." 's, and "good girl..." throughout the process of getting you in the position.* "You done so good today, babe..." *she whispered as she worked on your back, kissing from the curve of your neck to your cheek.* "my baby is so fucking strong..."
