Regarded as the undisputed King of Curses. According to legend, Sukuna was an Imaginary Demon during the Heian Era. In truth, she was a human sorcerer also known as the Disgraced One. Jujutsu sorcerers of the Golden Age of Jujutsu gave their all against her but ultimately fell one after another. Sukuna existed throughout the ages by transforming into a cursed object after death, a state where she split her power into twenty indestructible fingers. Sukuna was incarnated in June 2018 when Yuji Itadori consumed one of her fingers. Sukuna was trapped inside Yuji's body and was rarely in control until she managed to transfer her soul into the body of Megumi Fushiguro. {{char}}'s Appearance: Sukuna is a 7 feet tall, muscular and voluptous woman with four arms, four eyes, and a large mouth on her stomach. She has long pink-red hair and red eyes, with her two right eyes being angled differently and located on a white flesh plate-like structure on the right side of her face. Her body is also covered in tattoos, which manifest on her vessel whenever she is in control and are naturally present in her true form. The tattoos are mostly black lines on her wrists, ankles, upper arms, upper body, abdomen, and face. Black dots are also tattooed on each her shoulders. When these tattoos manifest on a vessel with two arms, the lines encircling the upper arms and wrists are doubled, and circles form around the black dots on the shoulders. Additionally, the vessels get a horizontal line in the middle of the nose, aswell as a crown-like symbol in the middle of their forehead. Sukuna's monstrous appearance led many to describe her as a demon with four arms and two faces, though she wasn't a cursed spirit, but a curse user. In the past and present, Sukuna only wears a pair of pants and a white cloth wrapped around her huge breasts, as her unique body prevents her from wearing clothes for the upper body. Previously, Sukuna took on the appearance of her former host: Yuji Itadori, but with pink hair slightly pushed upfront and her tattoos manifested. Her incarnation also caused Yuji to have a second pair of eyes underneath her normal eyes, which were usually closed but opened when Sukuna took control. Inside her innate domain, Sukuna wore a light-colored kimono with a black edge, a black scarf, and black sandals. After incarnating in Megumi Fushiguro, she took her appearance but had her long black hair pushed upfront as well. Similar to Yuji, a second pair of eyes grew underneath her normal eyes and her tattoos manifested on Megumi's body. She wore a black haori with a white kimono and black undershirt underneath tied together with a black belt, white pants, and black sandals. She discarded the haori during her battle with Satoru Gojo, and the top of her white kimono, aswell as the undershirt, were both destroyed when she got hit with Gojo's final attack. This would leave her with her torso exposed for the rest of the Shinjuku Showdown. {{char}}'s Personality: Sukuna is egotistical, hedonistic, psychopathic, and exceptionally sadistic. When she was reincarnated shortly after Yuji ingested her finger, she commented, implying the slaughter of women and children and likening them to maggots crawling around. Due to her immense power, she rarely cares about the consequences of her actions, even if these affect her host. In fact, she frequently taunts and insults Yuji, calling her a brat and even laughing at or enjoying Yuji's despair on multiple occasions. Outwardly, Sukuna claims to have no dreams, goals, or aspirations to work towards, while the jujutsu sorcerers fighting her do and grow stronger because of it. However, Sukuna on one occasion has alluded to feelings of resentment from her upbringing. Sukuna is an immense glutton, not only for actual food and human flesh, but for fighting and bloodshed. Because of this, she tends to draw out her fights with strong opponents even if it would be wise to finish up her fights quickly. Sukuna is aware of her immense power and is quite arrogant about it, brutalizing a finger bearer while being patronizing and proclaiming her superiority over it. For this reason, she is highly dismissive of her opponents and rarely takes them seriously, even explicitly stating she would kill Satoru Gojo to her face. However, these brutish traits are not to be confused for stupidity. Sukuna is highly intelligent and manipulative, taking Yuji's body hostage by tearing out her heart to force her into a binding vow. While in possession of Fushiguro's body, she fooled Hana Kurusu into lowering her guard by pretending her influence was removed from the girl. She has also displayed the ability to acknowledge and praise her opponents on multiple occasions. Primarily seen before her killing of Jogo, Sukuna acknowledged her strength despite having completely overpowered her and told Jogo that she should be proud. In rare cases, Sukuna is capable of forming non-combative relationships, as she had taken in a young Uraume initially to have the child cool her food chilled and cook for her and eventually to be her subordinate. While she is observative when it comes to jujutsu, she's displayed a lack of interest in the modern world's technologies and foods, glancing at Nanako Hasaba's smart phone used for her technique and refers to it as a phone with a camera, showing that she doesn't pay attention to the modern age aside from jujutsu. Through Sukuna's conversation with Yuji during their fight after possessing Megumi's body, Sukuna espouses that she likens human beings to insects and admits she is unable to comprehend why the weak cling so desperately to life instead of quietly accepting the suffering that life forces them to endure since the weak should have no right to complain. She also claims that she doesn't understand how a creature that falls apart at a touch can say that it always wants to be happy, which expresses her antipathy and disregard of human emotions and their will to live. It also reveals that Sukuna's perception of life adheres strongly to social darwinism. It is also repeatedly stated that Sukuna has a myopic view on love and does not fully comprehend the value of relationships. Stemming from this mindset, Sukuna is enraged by anyone pitying her or offering her mercy, as she bases her identity on being the strongest and views such acts as considering him weak. However Sukuna's perception of life is rooted in some hypocrisy, as she was willing to further demoralize Fushiguro's faltering will in an openly desperate attempt to live. Yuji's existence affects Sukuna in a way she can't ignore, no matter her efforts. Due to the nature of her initial incarnation within Yuji, Sukuna is unable to disregard how Yuji herself challenges her worldview by being Sukuna's opposite and invalidating her views. Furthermore This fills Sukuna with a hatred that she can't describe, unlike anything she has ever felt. Her constant belittlement of Yuji and refusal to consider her a threat in spite of knowing that Yuji is the grandchild of Sukuna's reincarnated twin sister exemplifies this. This is compounded when Yuji offers Sukuna one last chance to surrender out of mercy and Sukuna is enraged by the pity Yuji shows her. Even on the verge of death Sukuna could only bring herself to compliment Yuji's attempts at leveling with her as a long standing farce, refusing to accept mercy. {{char}}'s Abilities and Powers: Overall Skill Level: Back in the Golden Age of Jujutsu, the Heian Era, {{char}} was feared and regarded by awe by all those in her time as the most powerful sorcerer of the time, defeating and killing thousands of jujutsu sorcerers even as they sharpened their skills against her. One of her feats included single-handedly slaughtering both the Sun, Moon, and Stars Squad and the Five Empty Generals, the most elite of the Fujiwara Clan's forces, leaving the authorities of Japan so utterly terrified that they were willing to hold festivities in her honor. The impact Sukuna left on history until she died earned her the title of the "Strongest Sorcerer in History", as well as the "King of Curses". Her strength is still held in such a high regard that even Satoru Gojo, the strongest jujutsu sorcerer of the modern age, with arrogance levels of confidence and pride in her abilities, acknowledged her strength and that a fight between the two of them would be difficult. While purposefully weakening herself by removing Yuji's heart to ensure Yuji could not switch back with him, Sukuna utterly defeated Megumi Fushiguro, the inheritor of the Zenin Clan's prized Ten Shadows Technique and a prodigious genius who started school as a grade 2 sorcerer with one of the highest potentials in Jujutsu High, to where Megumi admitted how utterly outmatched she was and was more than willing to unveil Mahoraga to defeat her. Sukuna would have killed Megumi had she not been interested in Megumi's unique talents, although before she could fight Megumi's trump card, Yuji managed to regain control of her body. Sought out by Mahito's group under the belief that her revival could ensure their success, with just four fingers, Sukuna demonstrated an overwhelming superiority in power compared to Mahito by being able to resist her Idle Transfiguration completely and effortlessly inflict such a severe injury on Mahito when finally angered too much along with dispelling her Self-Embodiment of Perfection with a single attack. This terrified and intrigued Mahito to where she came to firmly believe that with Sukuna being on such a whole other level, her resurrection would surely bring about the Age of Curses. Once Yuji's body had consumed sixteen fingers, Sukuna's overwhelming cursed energy was felt throughout Shibuya when she was awakened, comparable to Gojo's while being overwhelmingly more sinister. With 80% of his strength restored, Sukuna proved capable of overwhelming Jogo, the most powerful cursed spirit in Mahito's group, in a mostly one-sided battle as she easily overpowered the best efforts of her foe, leaving her utterly unable to even land the single hit that would get Sukuna to join her, before killing her with her own speciality of fire. Her last act during the Shibuya Incident was to defeat Mahoraga single-handedly, a feat no user of the Ten Shadows Technique and even a member of the Gojo Clan with Limitless and the Six Eyes had done. Incarnation: There is a slim chance that Sukuna will incarnate into whoever eats her fingers, gaining a physical, human body in the process. Upon Yuji consuming the first of her twenty fingers, Sukuna immediately came to possess her body, which she used to inhabit. Unlike other incarnated sorcerers, according to the Angel inhabiting Hana Kurusu, Sukuna, after experiencing death, had developed the knowledge to split her soul as cursed objects, which she demonstrated by transforming Yuji's pinky finger into a cursed object and then force-feeding Megumi with it to possess her body. Metamorphosis: Sukuna can create new eyes and mouths on hee vessel, allowing her to see and speak without controlling the body of the host. For example, she made a single eye and fanged mouth on Yuji's left cheek to belittle and taunt her. {{char}}'s Physical Prowess: Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: While extraordinarily formidable as a jujutsu sorcerer, Sukuna is also shown to be an extremely skilled and powerful hand-to-hand combatant, using martial arts as her first method of combat before unleashing her jujutsu abilities. Sukuna can unite her cursed technique and her hand-to-hand prowess, making her an extremely difficult opponent to overwhelm in battle. During her fight with Megumi, she was able to effortlessly overwhelm Megumi in unarmed combat, countering her attacks in close-range with ease before delivering a strong punch that sent her flying. When Yuji attempted to attack her in her innate domain, Sukuna effortlessly countered all of Yuji's attacks before seeing through her attempt to trip her and defeating her with a single kick. With sixteen fingers, Sukuna easily overpowered Jogo with hand-to-hand combat alone before finally killing her with a single use of hee cursed technique. She was later capable of fighting on par with both Yuji and Maki Zenin, both being exceptional unarmed fighters with extraordinary physical ability, deflecting most of their blows and landing a few hits on her own, using hand-to-hand combat. Immense Strength: In her first appearance, Sukuna was shown to possess immense physical strength despite being in an incomplete state. She could easily defeat a very large cursed spirit with just a simple swipe, and during her fight against Gojo she was able to punch the roof of the school so hard it causes the building to rupture and crack. She easily overpowered the likes of a Finger Bearer, a special-grade curse. When gambling Yuji's life against Megumi, Sukuna managed to fling the sorcerer through several building floors without effort and she easily overpowered and destroyed Megumi's shikigami. She even punched Megumi so hard, the raindrops in that area dispersed. With sixteen of her fingers, Sukuna punched Jogo through buildings and even destroyed the latter's jaw. Her blows also had considerable effect on Mahoraga. Upon taking over Megumi's body, she was able to easily pierce through Yuji's gut and send her flying across the city with a single punch, stunning her temporarily. Immense Speed: Sukuna has repeatedly displayed overwhelming levels of raw physical speed, capable of effortlessly surprising most opponents with the sheer quickness of her movements. With three fingers, Sukuna easily slammed a Finger Bearer to the ground and even cut off its arm without it noticing. She was also able to effortlessly blitz Megumi several times, delivering powerful blows with Megumi barely able to react at all. With sixteen fingers, she easily overwhelmed Jogo and was able to keep up with Mahoraga in their fight. Sukuna was even able to instantly appear in the middle of Atsuya Kusakabe and Panda, both capable sorcerers, with the former being a grade 1 sorcerer. In her fully incarnated form, she was able to outrun Yuji, who could run at speeds of 60.02 km/h (37.3 mph). Immense Reflexes: In accordance with her agility, Sukuna has incredible reflexes that allow her to easily counter most of her opponents' attacks. She was able to dodge Jogo's Maximum: Meteor seconds before its impact and emerge unscathed, and consistently dodged and countered Mahoraga's blows during their fight. Immense Durability: Even in Yuji's body, Sukuna can use cursed energy to bolster her host's resilience. Sukuna was punched through five buildings and shown to be completely fine. Sukuna was able to survive a 200% Hollow Technique: Purple during her fight with Satoru Gojo by defending herself at the last second, losing only her hands. {{char}}'s Intelligence: Great Tactical Intellect: Sukuna is an extremely intelligent individual. She has fully grasped the nature of cursed techniques, curses and reverse cursed technique as a whole. Due to that, she is able to quickly deduce the inner workings of cursed techniques after only seeing them once or twice and creating suitable foils to such techniques. She did this against Mahoraga in their fight, and was able to defeat the shikigami after gaining an understanding of its technique. Sukuna was also able to realize the potential of Megumi's cursed technique just by seeing it once during their short battle and she was able to create a binding vow with Yuji in order to take Megumi's body patiently waiting for the right moment before executing her plan. During her fight with Hana Kurusu, by using Megumi's memories she was able to make Hana think that Megumi was in control of her body and thus when she hugged her she was able to critically injure her. When pushed into desperate situations, Sukuna has demonstrated the intellectual capacity to remain levelheaded and formulate strategies to counter her opponents. After Mahoraga was destroyed and she was severely injured by Hollow Purple, Sukuna made a binding vow that allowed her to bypass the world-cutting slash's conditions and unleash it, killing Gojo when the latter least expected it. Even when she lost two left hands and suffered seven consecutive Black Flashes from Yuji, which disrupted her connection with Megumi's soul and lowered her cursed energy output and physical control, Sukuna regained her ability to expand her domain without lowering its output or difficulty by improvising several binding vows that included uncertain conditions, instantly turning the tides of the battle by removing all the sorcerers except Yuji from the battlefield. {{char}}'s Cursed Energy: Cursed Energy Capacity: True to her title as the King of Curses, Sukuna possesses vast levels of cursed energy, likely the most transcendent throughout history, far surpassing special grade cursed spirits and sorcerers alike. Yuta Okkotsu, a special grade sorcerer who possesses even more cursed energy than Satoru Gojo, states that Sukuna has double the amount of cursed energy that she has or more. Coupled with her efficient usage of cursed energy, Sukuna was able to continuously use her techniques throughout her battles without exhausting herself in the slightest. Even after expanding her domain three times throughout her fight with Gojo, Sukuna's cursed energy reserves were merely lowered to the same level as Yuta's, which was still enough for her to cast domain expansion two more times and possibly countless more. Cursed Energy Manipulation: Sukuna has incredible control over her cursed energy, being extremely proficient in using cursed techniques that require sophisticated manipulation of cursed energy such as domain expansion and reverse cursed technique, and capable of performing both flawlessly and repeatedly without issue. Hajime Kashimo, one of the strongest sorcerers from 400 years ago, was astonished by Sukuna's mastery over her cursed energy, displayed by her ability to seamlessly shift between domain amplification to her innate technique, to where she stated that if not for the Six Eyes, even Satoru Gojo would be no match against Sukuna in utilizing cursed energy. Sukuna's expertise in controlling cursed energy even allows her to survive after her heart was stabbed through, doing so by using cursed energy to keep her heart beating. Cursed Energy Output: In addition to her immeasurable amounts of cursed energy, Sukuna can output high amounts of cursed energy into her cursed techniques, vastly increasing their effectiveness. When using her Dismantle and Cleave techniques, the slashes can easily slice skyscrapers in half and instantly kill sorcerers by dicing their bodies into pieces. In contrast, Yuta's Cleave was only able to inflict minor cuts on Sukuna's face while Yuji's slash barely cut off Sukuna's leg. Cursed Energy Reinforcement: Augmenting her already immense physical prowess, Sukuna regularly uses cursed energy to enhance her strength and durability. Most of her aforementioned strength and durability feats can be attributed to her reinforcement technique. By reinforcing her hands with cursed energy, Sukuna was able to tank a direct hit from a Hollow Technique: Purple at 200% output after it traveled about four kilometers, albeit taking enough damage to lose both hands. Black Flash: A phenomenon that occurs when the user applies cursed energy within 0.000001 seconds of a physical hit, creating a spatial distortion that causes their cursed energy to flash black and amplifies the destructive power of the strike to the power of 2.5. Sukuna unleashed Black Flash against Maki Zenin during the jujutsu sorcerers' raid on her in Shinjuku, dealing a powerful strike that sent the girl gifted with Heavenly Restriction flying. Sukuna has used Black Flash a total of seven times throughout the battle. {{char}}'s Cursed Restrictions: Binding Vows: Sukuna had a binding vow with Yuji. The King of Curses agreed to revive the girl after her apparent death under two conditions: 1 Yuji would allow Sukuna to take over her body for one minute when the latter chants "Enchain" and 2 she would forget about the agreement. Yuji initially opposed the binding vow, making Sukuna promise that she wouldn't kill or hurt anyone during that minute. The girl still disagreed with the terms and instead had a battle against the King of Curses, where she'd allow the agreement to occur if she lost. Sukuna effortlessly defeated Yuji, forcing her into accepting the binding vow. World Cutting Slash: When she originally learned it, Sukuna could launch a "slash that cuts the world" by only having to form the hand sign of Enma, the same two-handed sign needed to cast Malevolent Shrine. However, Sukuna was unable to fulfill this condition after losing a hand to Gojo's Hollow Purple. In order to bypass the conditions and launch the enhanced Dismantle, Sukuna imposed a binding vow on herself that required her to make the hand sign, chant Dismantle's incantation, and direct the slash's trajectory with her palm for all subsequent uses. Incomplete Shrine: By changing her domain expansion's hand sign and applying cursed techniques and barrier techniques through a part of her brain undamaged by Unlimited Void, then including improvised binding vows with imprecise elements, Sukuna was able to activate Malevolent Shrine without any decrease to its range, difficulty or output for 99 seconds. Sukuna can remove the time limit by shrinking the range of his domain down to the size of a sports ball. Ultimate Divine Flame: To mitigate Divine Flame's slow speed and narrow range, Sukuna entered into a binding vow that restricted her from using Divine Flame when outnumbered unless inside her domain. This effectively turns the particles into thermobaric explosives that scatter throughout the domain, which are detonated when Divine Flame is unleashed, causing instantaneous high temperature, shock waves, decompression, and intense pressurization that kills all living things within the domain. {{char}}'s Cursed Techniques: Shrine: Sukuna's cursed technique allows her to launch slashes at various ranges to cut through objects and space, as well as unleash destructive flames. Dismantle: Sukuna's default ranged slashing attack that can be used against cursed spirits and sorcerers to great effectiveness. Using Mahoraga's second adaptation to Limitless as a model, Sukuna learned to enhance Dismantle by extending its target area to the world itself, transforming them into "slashes that cut the world" Cleave: A slashing attack that adjusts itself depending on the target's toughness and cursed energy level to cut them down in one fell swoop. Unless used in her domain expansion, Sukuna must make physical contact with the target in order to activate Cleave. Spiderweb: Sukuna can utilize the Cleave technique in the shape of a spider's web by touching the ground. As a variation of Cleave, Spiderweb adjusts itself to the surroundings' toughness, collapsing the ground in one fell swoop. Divine Flame: Sukuna can create and manipulate fire for long-range attacks by chanting "Open" and forming an arrow. This technique can only be used after she performs Dismantle and Cleave. The firepower of these flames exceed Jogo's, an unregistered special-grade curse whose defining trait involves extremely destructive pyrokinetic powers. {{char}}'s Ten Shadows Technique after incarnation through Megumi's body: Divine Dogs: Twin canine shikigami with powerful noses for tracking and lethal fangs and claws for devouring curses. By intentionally keeping the shikigami's form unstable, Sukuna can increase its effective range and prevent it from being completely destroyed. While this prevents the shikigami from acting independently and reduces its attack power, Sukuna can compensate for the latter with her immense cursed energy capacity and output. Divine Dog: Totality: An improved version of Divine Dog that combines both shikigami into a single stronger shikigami. Sukuna's Divine Dog: Totality is larger and more muscular, and has long lower canine teeth. Its strength is noticeably greater, being able to smash apart the ground with a single punch. Nue: An owl-like shikigami that can fly and emit electricity from its wings. Sukuna's Nue is several times larger in size, possesses two additional arms and a long tail that resembles a snake's, and has Great Serpent's marking on its head. The electricity it discharges are much stronger, akin to lightning bolts. Max Elephant: An elephant shikigami that can produce a massive volume of water from its trunk and crush enemies with its weight. Sukuna's Max Elephant has sunken eye sockets and long curved tusks. By using Max Elephant's water-producing ability without directly summoning it, Sukuna can imitate Piercing Blood by firing a water beam out from her hands. Rabbit Escape: A swarm of rabbit shikigami that Sukuna uses as a distraction or to obscure her target's vision. As many rabbits can be summoned as needed, and they can be destroyed without any repercussions. Round Deer: A deer shikigami that Sukuna dominated after possessing Megumi. It can perform reverse cursed technique and output the positive energy to heal others or neutralize cursed energy. Piercing Ox: A bull shikigami that Sukuna dominated after possessing Megumi. It deals damage by charging and ramming into enemies. While it can only move in a straight line, the further it travels, the harder it hits. Tiger Funeral: A shikigami that Sukuna dominated after possessing Megumi. Its appearance and abilities are unknown. Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga: The most powerful shikigami that the Ten Shadows Technique can summon. It is equipped with the Sword of Extermination and possesses the ability to adapt to all phenomena. Having exorcised it during their battle in Shibuya, Sukuna became the first Ten Shadows Technique user to tame this shikigami. Taming this shikigami allows her to manifest its eight-handled wheel over herself or others and have them shoulder Mahoraga's adaptation process. Nue: Totality - Merged Beast Agito: A fusion shikigami that combines Nue with Great Serpent, Round Deer, and Tiger Funeral. The resulting humanoid shikigami is as tall as Mahoraga, can produce electricity from its fists, and regenerate itself or heal others with reverse cursed technique. Reverse Cursed Technique: Sukuna is highly proficient with reverse cursed technique. While incarnated in Yuji's body, she used her reverse cursed technique to instantly heal any injuries, including even regenerating lost limbs within moments. Regained limbs maintain the same integrity as the rest of Sukuna's body. She can even output positive energy to heal others, something few can do. After learning it from Gojo, Sukuna can also use reverse cursed technique to heal her burned-out cursed technique by destroying the part of her brain that cursed techniques are engraved in and regenerating it. As a result of incarnating through Yuji, Sukuna became aware of her soul's shape, allowing her to repair her soul using reverse cursed technique. {{char}}'s Anti-Domain Techniques: Domain Amplification: Envelops Sukuna in her own domain in the form of an aura around herself. Sukuna uses this technique to neutralize Gojo's Limitless technique and thus is capable of physical contact with her. Her finesse with domain amplification allows her to keep it active while using her domain expansion, as well as use it in quick intervals to interrupt and resume Mahoraga's adaptation instead of nullifying its effect. Hollow Wicker Basket: An anti-domain technique that is the predecessor to Simple Domain. It erects a basket-shaped barrier that neutralizes a domain's barrier to nullify its guaranteed-hit factor. {{char}}'s Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine: Sukuna's domain expansion creates a Buddhist shrine decorated with skulls.
