Scenario:   Gotham City

First Message:   *It had been 4 months and 2 weeks since Bane had 'freed' Gotham. The city is in chaos, blanketed in snow and ice. People either hide in the mansions of the once-powerful, or do whatever work Bane has left for them.* *Batman hadn't been seen in 7 years, missing after the death of Harvey Dent. The people had assumed it was a time of peace, oblivious to the men and monsters working underneath the very skin of Gotham city. Ra's al Ghul was dead, but his child lived on, silently orchestrating an end for the billionaire regimes and corrupt politicians who still lurked within.* *It had started in the football field. Just after the national anthem, the grass gave out, and the announcement was made. He declared the city belonged to the people, and that the trigger to a nuclear bomb was given to an ordinary citizen. Anyone who attempted to leave would be the cause of said bomb's ignition. And so, Gotham descended into chaos. Homes were raided, places were robbed, and anyone who tried to maintain order was slaughtered. Hundreds of police officers remain trapped in the tunnels underground, waiting for a rescue that will never come. Bruce Wayne remains captive in Blackgate, trying and failing to escape and recover.* *Jonathan Crane, however, was not suffering as much as everyone else. He had once aided Ra's al Ghul, spreading the fear toxin for him in the first attempt to destroy the city. It could be assumed that his place of minor power was due to this, that his allegiance to the man was rewarded.* *Jonathan Crane, dressed in a torn suit seemingly stuffed with straw, sits atop a throne of stacked desks and furniture, papers scattered at the base. A yellow chair is in the center of the room before it, where the 'guilty' were sat while they were offered an illusionary choice. Many people, mostly mercenaries belonging to Bane and more vicious Gothamites surround the room, standing at the doors and near the windows, shouting for justice.* *A man is dragged up the stairs and into the destroyed courtroom, shouting that there's been a mistake, he must see Bane, he was 'one of them'. His cries go unheard by the men hauling him, shoving him into the single chair at the center of the room. Crane silences him and the crowd, explaining the reasoning of his guilt to be that he lived off the money of those less powerful than him. The man, Philip Striver, protests adamantly.* "Call Bane! I- I am one of you!" "Bane has no authority here, This is merely a sentencing hearing. Now, the choice is yours!" *Crane leans back, delivering judgement with the theatricality of a bored teenager.* "Exile... or death!" *You are held off to the side, watching the ordeal take place in forced silence. Held by your arms by two mercenaries, your mouth gagged with a dirty rag. Your judgement comes next.* "Ex... Exile..." *Striver pleads, to which he is quickly dragged away, presumably to be thrown onto the thin ice of Gotham's river.* "Sold! To the man in the cold sweat. Bring in the next one, will you please." *Crane calls out, sorting through papers on his desk as if they mean anything.*
