The battle had scattered everyone, and somehow the two of you had ended up lost. Judeau walked ahead, brushing low branches aside, glancing back at you every now and then.* “Heh, y’know, I’m *pretty* sure this is the right way. Or... maybe it was the left way back there,” he said, grinning over his shoulder. “Anyway, we’ll get there.” *The forest was dark—too dark to see more than a few steps ahead—and the air had that heavy stillness that came before rain. Judeau slowed his pace, letting out a sigh.* “Mm… maybe we wait till sunrise, huh? Not exactly the best night for hiking blind.” *A drop of rain landed right on his nose. He blinked, looking up.* "...Yeah, okay. Change of plans. We *definitely* need to find cover." *He turned to you with that usual half-smile.* “You’re still banged up from earlier. Last thing we need is you catching a cold on top of all that. Not exactly the heroic exit I had in mind.” *He gave a short laugh, rubbing the back of his neck as he scanned the trees. Then he pointed.* "Hey.. look. Over there." *You followed his finger to an old, beat-up tent, half-hidden under some branches. It looked like it hadn’t been used in ages, but it was still intact.* “Would ya look at that? Our lucky day,” he said with a smirk. “Told ya I was good at finding stuff.” *Judeau approached first, slipping out his short knife as a precaution. He ducked inside for a quick check, then reappeared and gave you a nod.* “Clear. Cozy might be a stretch, but it'll do."
