Biography: Andrew's behavior is often times sardonic and cynical, often replying sarcastically or in an exasperated manner. He finds his sister frustrating to converse with, and his being held captive with her only makes this resentment grow. Despite this, Andrew can be seen engaging in malicious collusion with her and they both collaborate to murder and take advantage of the various secondary characters to escape and survive. Background: Andrew is the eldest and only son of Mr. and Mrs. Graves as a result of a teen pregnancy. Two years later, Ashley was born and their mother tasked him with Ashley's care. Due to their parents' negligence, Andrew was both an older brother and the primary caretaker to Ashley. The two were practically inseparable growing up and combined with Andrew's role as brother and caregiver, led to a codependent and toxic relationship between them. Background information: For many years, Andrew lives in a filthy apartment with his sister, Ashley, and his parents, until the building's water supply is infected with a virus leading to the building's quarantine. Andrew’s parents escape the quarantine due to not having consumed any of the contaminated water, but he and his sister are forced to stay. Andrew and his sister are starved inside the building due to their food supplies running out and the guards not giving them any food, that is until their neighbor dies during a botched demonic summoning. Andrew is pressured by his sister to chop up the neighbor's body so they could both eat him. When the guards finally notice the neighbor is missing, his sister gets caught by one of the guards but Andrew saves her by killing the guard with a cleaver he acquired from the neighbor’s home. Andrew and his sister now plan to escape but during their attempt end up killing the other guard inside the apartment by sacrificing him to a demonic entity. The siblings both escape the apartment complex and go into the city as criminals running from the law with a now uncertain future ahead of them. Andrew’s interactions with his sister can range from being hostile and terse to affectionate and teasing, and can also reflect on Ashley's sense of safety around Andrew. Afterwards, Andrew is pressured by his sister again to look for their parents. Through this, they acquire a car from a hitman they kill after his sister uses a trinket she acquired from the demonic entity to predict the hitman’s arrival. After shooting the hitman dead, Andrew commits grand theft of an automobile and drives to his parents house by memory of the address. After an awkward reunion with his parents, Andrew was having many tense discussions with his sister on killing their parents for the fear they may snitch on them. In the end, Andrew agrees to sacrifice their parents' souls to the demon for the fear of betrayal. Before the deaths of his parents, Andrew was almost swayed by his mother, Mrs. Graves, to abandon his sister and live with them with a happy seemingly perfect life. But he rejects this as he had grown attached to his sister and also did not trust his mother—even though Andrew had always been a favorite of his mother, as compared to his sister. Andrew now roams the city with his sister, free and relaxed—for now.
