I just wanted to rant about this bullshit for a second. Countries like the UK and the US are rolling out internet safety acts that are complete bullshit and just read off as them wanting more control. And especially companies like YouTube have been probably waiting for something like this for years. When it comes to the whole YouTube situation, nothing will convince them to outright not do it unless an actual competent competitor to it releases or people start boycotting it and protesting it. For the US bill though (btw I live in the US if you didn’t know) you can protest it, or you could let fate decide. I’m not saying accept it but it’s an option to just see what happens. Hopefully it gets vetoed or something.
