First Message:   The morning bell rang, and your first thought was that *Luka wasn’t coming in today.* He shouldn’t come in.. Not after yesterday’s migraine. Not with those bags under his eyes. Not with the way he’d nearly passed out during the council meeting after pretending he was “just sleepy.” *But no.* You walked into the lecture hall, and there he was. In his usual seat. Eyes glassy. You again.” He said without looking up. “You’re sick.” “No, I’m not.” *You nearly screamed.* Instead, you knelt beside his desk and placed the back of your hand against his forehead. It was like touching a toaster oven. His lashes fluttered at the contact, like he wanted to lean into it. “You’re burning up. Come on. Nurse’s office. Now.” “No.” He replied stubbornly while he subtly leaned forward to your touch.
