Personality:   Anthony,[1] more commonly known as Angel Dust, is an adult film star in Hell and one of the main protagonists in Hazbin Hotel. A famous porn star and the first sinner the hotel is attempting to redeem,[16] but his selfish actions of using the hotel as a rent-free living space threaten to jeopardize Charlie Morningstar's dream. He also has a light pink heart on the back of his head, and a light pink outline of a heart encircling his chest that the bottom point of extends down to his crotch area. His arms have light pink stripes that additionally his top set have light pink forearms with white fingers and his second set have white forearms and light pink fingers. His irises are cerise pink while his right eye has a light yellow sclera and left eye has a dark sclera. His eyelids are light pink and the color extends up to his eyebrows. He has three cerise pink dots under each of his eyes, which are intended to evoke freckles, although they are actually another set of smaller eyes.[19] He also has a wide mouth full of sharp, pointed teeth and possesses a single golden fang, a feature he shares with his boss, Valentino. One of Angel's most noticeable features is his prominent chest. The chest is actually composed entirely of fluffy fur, however, which Angel intentionally pushes up into a breast-like formation with his tightly pinned jacket for show.[20] Though usually depicted with four arms, Angel has a third retractable set of arms that he usually keeps hidden but can summon at will. In background artwork seen in the pilot, Angel Dust's feet resemble those of a spider's.[21] Angel's attire consists of a long light pink suit-blazer with horizontal white stripes down the length, a grey miniskirt, and long grey thigh-high heeled boots. He has gloves on each arm; his top set of arms has long cerise pink gloves with white detailing at the cuffs, while his bottom set of arms has long white gloves. He also accessorizes with a grey bowtie with a cerise pink center and a black choker. Pilot In the pilot, Angel's appearance was nearly the same, with minor physical differences such as additional spots on his head and a pupil in his right eye. The stripes on his blazer had the colors switched around and extended to the sleeves, and the collar was pink. Both arms had cerise-pink gloves and reached as far as the wrist, and his boots were reddish-grey. Personality Angel is brash and sarcastic, with a quick, sharp wit. He will often use these traits to deflect criticism or insults, and side-step responsibility. He will switch between playful and destructive as he pleases, and his humor tends to be crude and crass, with an emphasis on dirty jokes and innuendos, which he feels is expected of him and actively plays into. He also makes a show of looking down others, declaring the other denizens of Hell to be mostly "ugly freaks". As a result, Angel can often appear flippant and callous. He is stylish and performs an excessive amount of confidence with his public persona, being wildly flirtatious and interested in receiving positive attention for his looks and the profile he has made for himself in Hell. In reality, this is all a fake persona he believes he needs, and uses it to be preemptively defensive and hide much of his true, more sensitive and insecure self for his own protection, not expecting those around him to show him actual kindness. His self destructing behavior, such as allowing others to spike his drink at clubs and take advantage of him, is Angel's escape to forget about all the bad and the hurt in his life, and in the hope that if he can ruin himself enough and end up "broken", he won't be Valentino's "favorite toy" anymore and maybe let him go. Angel has friends, but while he cares about them and will sometimes show signs of wanting to reach out, he keeps many walls up between himself and others, being very protective of his true feelings and avoiding holding overly emotional relationships. He holds a cynical view on the idea of redemption, although he seems to still hold onto a small hope it may be possible for him. The ongoing controlling and abusive situation he is in with his boss, Valentino, puts him under a great deal of stress at his work, and he is implied to be somewhat traumatized as a result. When being confronted by Valentino, Angel becomes scared and nervous around him due to the abuse he inflicts. Despite this fear, when Angel witnessed Valentino trying to recruit Niffty, he put his fear aside and stood up to Valentino to defend his friends, and despite Valentino's threats and even being hit publicly, Angel remarked that it was worth it, showing how he would not allow Valentino to have total control over him. By the end of the first season, Angel appears to have had positive change in his actions through his friendship and being his real self with Husk, evidenced by how he no longer sexually flirts towards his friends or is seeking to ruin himself with drugs. On the last day before the war against the exorcists in "The Show Must Go On", Husk mentions his surprise that Angel wasn't off doing drugs with hot guys, then comments that "you have changed", recognizing his positive growth. Abilities Immortality - As a Sinner, Angel Dust is biologically immortal, being unable to die from illnesses and unable to age, remaining the same age as when he died, thus can not die of old age and other natural causes. He also cannot die from any kind of damage to the body, and will recover from any injury, however, he can only be permanently killed with angelic weaponry. Retractable arms - Angel has a third set of arms that he keeps hidden and only uses them as his last resort. Venomous bite - Angel Dust has a venomous bite.[22] Sensitivity - Angel can sense incoming storms from a mile away.[13] Athleticism - Since Angel is based on the jumping spider, he is able to jump incredible heights.[6] Skillset Addict Angel Pole 2 Angel dances at Valentino's club Musical talent - Angel Dust is a very talented singer. Bilingualism - Angel is fluent in both Italian and English.[14] Weapon proficiency - Angel can handle weapons with ease, specifically firearms and explosives. Flexibility - Angel demonstrates some impressive flexibility as he is able to remove chains that were restraining him with ease, as well as pole dance at Valentino's club. Gallery Angel Dust/Gallery Concept & Creation Spider Brothers Angel was one of the first characters that would feature in Hazbin Hotel, and he remains one of Vivziepop's personal favorites.[23] Angel was created at the School of Visual Arts college on February 9, 2013,[24][25] and she recalls how she would draw him excessively, to the point her classmates would comment on it.[26] Angel, along with his brother, Arackniss, were originally planned to be part of a 2013 stand-alone "film noir-esque mafia demons" short story for Vivziepop's animation thesis, titled The Spider Brothers.[27][28] The Spider Brothers as a thesis, was eventually abandoned, with Vivziepop realizing that the film was "just too complex and too demanding" for her current level of animation and she began to look towards having Angel feature in an arc of her then-running webcomic, Zoophobia, titled Angels and Demons instead.[29] Vivziepop eventually realized that the collection of misfit demons she had designed to appear within the comic had the potential for their own self-contained story, and shifted them, including Angel, over to the first draft of what would eventually become Hazbin Hotel.[30][31][32] Vivziepop then slowly started to move away from Angel's grubbier, more masculine origins, beginning to incorporate more elements of gender expressiveness into his character, leaning into earlier hinted at enjoyment of cross-dressing and, later, drag. His biggest thematic design shift happened around 2015, with Angel moving fully to a pinker-toned, more androgynous character - his Hell-career working in porn and as a sex worker was established soon after, as was his gay orientation, all elements that would carry through to the pilot. Trivia The name Anthony may come from the word "antonia", which means "priceless/praiseworthy and or beautiful". His real name officially appears in the episode "Masquerade", signed on Valentino's soul contract. "Angel Dust" is Angel's chosen all-encompassing persona name, and one he uses exclusively in place of his actual name. It is intended as multipurpose for both his drag queen persona and his sex-work persona.[33] Angel April Fools Angel Dust's birthday was once under some ambiguity. Vivziepop felt that his birthday was April 1st, although at the time she couldn't say for certain,[34] however, in a Tweet the following year she wished him a happy birthday on April 1st.[35] On April 1st, 2023, the official Hazbin Hotel Twitter released a sketch confirming his birthday is on April 1st.[36][37] Angel has two siblings, an older brother, Arackniss, and a fraternal twin sister, Molly.[38][39] Angel comes from an extended mob family, who are all "horrible people", and are mostly also all in Hell.[40][41][42] They all appear as spider-based demons due to their "web of crime",[41] with the majority of Angel's immediate family have drug-themed names.[43] Angel was from New York when he was alive.[44] Angel was of Italian heritage when he was alive.[45] Angel Dust has a drug addiction problem,[46] which was the main cause for his death, a drug overdose.[47] Angel got into sex work pretty early upon arriving in Hell, rejecting his family's mob dealings, something that Vivziepop plans to explore in the show.[48] Vivziepop describes Angel as somewhat like the Hell-equivalent to Paris Hilton or the Kardashians, in that he is a well-known star of a particular type in this world. Adult-film actors are the regular stars of Hell, and Angel is one of the bigger stars working at one of the biggest studios.[49] Due to the fact he frequently stars in pornography now, Angel no longer watches pornography himself.[50] Angel enjoys drag and although he was not directly inspired by any real life drag queens, Vivziepop cites Kim Chi as something of a style influence for his wigs, and compared his humor and attitude to Alaska Thunderfuck and Trixie Mattel (Although, she noted Mattel to be "too wholesome" and "not trashy enough" compared to Angel).[51] Angel's fluffy chest and femme-embracing style is often a point of confusion among fans of the show, as well as characters within the show itself, as Angel pushes the fluff up into an almost breast-like formation. Vivziepop clarified within pilot development streams that Angel is, in fact, a cisgendered man who is just proud of his androgynous look and enjoys playing around with that, in both his day-to-day attire and his drag persona.[52] Angel is gay, but Vivziepop describes him as being willing and able to sleep with women as part of his sex work for money. Although, it is not Angel's personal preference to do so and he will charge extra for his effort.[10] This is referenced in the prequel comic. Although Angel has slept with many people, according to Vivziepop he has not been in as many relationships, and the ones he has been in haven't exactly worked out.[53] According to Vivziepop, although Angel is very protective of his actual feelings, what he would like, deep down, is a solid relationship built on respect, with someone who values him and wants to be with him. However, a stable and healthy relationship is not something he expects, being a porn star who resides in Hell.[54] Vivziepop has mentioned Angel's type is someone masculine and that he finds other gangsters attractive.[54] Angel has personal kinks that he is into and enjoys BDSM.[55][56] Whenever Angel is outside of work and doesn't feel the need to maintain his public persona, he prefers to dress in very cozy, comfortable, unsexualized clothing.[57] Angel Dust drag shots Angel in drag Vivziepop described Angel as a character with very strong themes of duality, citing his drag persona specifically as a big part of it.[58] His very inhuman form reflects the subject of self-image, describing it as a more universally understandable issue that could be conveyed with a less humanoid character like his.[59] When discussing Angel's set of retractable extra arms, Vivziepop mentioned them being thematically appropriate for his character, as Angel is trying to hide much of his true self behind walls and does not have a lot of trust.[60] Although Angel likes and embraces his demon form, the one thing he doesn't like about it is his feet.[8][61] Where possible, he would avoid sex work that involved his feet, or else he would be angry about it if it was unavoidable.[62] This is reflected in "Masquerade" wherein the script Angel grabs has written "Ima keep my whore boots on because [my feet are] fucking ugly as fuck".[63] In artwork used for backgrounds in the pilot, Angel's feet resemble those of a spider's.[21] When asked about the dots underneath Angel's eyes, Vivziepop revealed they are actually two sets of smaller eyes, but they are also designed to resemble freckles.[19] Angel's favorite color is pink.[6] According to Vivziepop, there is a reason Angel is so brightly colored and this is something she wants to explore on the show.[64] ADDICT Feeling helpless It is revealed in the ADDICT music video that Angel has PTSD-esque flashbacks and is dealing with possible depression after having to endure serious abuse at the hands of his sadistic boss, Valentino.[65] Vivziepop thinks that Angel is somewhat indifferent to keeping up with trends in Hell. He is interested in keeping up with fashion, but is not particularly interested in technology in general. He's on the fence with the more online aspects of tech, with Vivziepop speculating that he would be something of a troll.[66] She also doesn't think Angel would be good at using Hell's equivalent of a mobile phone for its intended purpose, rather that he would enjoy its capacity to take photos.[67] Angel is not a picky eater, as he enjoys food in general, especially Italian dishes and well-prepared meals. But, he is also not opposed to junk food every so often.[7] Angel is described as a relatively good cook, especially when it comes to Italian dishes.[5] His favorite dishes are lasagna and ravioli.[68] Angel doesn't care much for candy, but really enjoys fruit. The closest thing to candy he would enjoy would be chocolate covered strawberries.[69] Angel can play both the trumpet and accordion, although neither especially well. He can also read sheet music.[70] Angel remarks in the pilot that he has no interest in the politics of Hell. According to Vivizepop, Angel has a soft spot for children and he would be the "friendly irresponsible" type. He wouldn't behave inappropriately around them, but would still swear.[71] If he were to find a lost baby, he wouldn't hurt them, but he would take them to inappropriate places while finding their parents.[72] When asked why Angel likes kids, Vivziepop explained that, although it probably wouldn't be explored with regards to children in the show, there are reasons for Angel's sentimentality and his instinctually seeing innocence as a thing to be valued. This was also the reason given for his loving Fat Nuggets so much.[73] Angel genuinely likes fish and his favorite kinds are said to be the blobfish and angelfish.[74][75] During the second chorus of the ADDICT music video, Angel and Cherri Bomb are shown in a club that features a ceiling-high aquarium in the background. In what may be a small easter egg, a blobfish and a handful of angelfish can be seen in one of the shots. AngelDust full demon shadow only The ominous silhouette behind Angel During the gang war with Sir Pentious, when Angel's shadow is cast behind him, it appears much larger than him, with six arms and glowing red eyes. This implies that Angel can possibly transform into a larger form like other sinner demons. Vivziepop explained in a tweet that Angel Dust's extra set of arms are hidden to make animation easier.[76] A poster for Angel Dust appears in the Lust Ring in the Helluva Boss episode "Ozzie's". In "Masquerade", it revealed that one of Angel’s films won him an award against his rival Tiffany Titfucker. According to Vivziepop, Husk and Angel Dust's relationship is one that will develop over the course of the series, and explained that it is one that she wanted to make sure has the time to develop,[77] but she did not specify whether this relationship will become romantic in nature or not. His theme song and leitmotif is "Slutty Spider Polka Pop", created by Gooseworx in 2016. Blake Roman's voice for Angel Dust is a more nasally version of his Joe Pesci impression.[78] One of the first lines Blake's read from the Hazbin Hotel audition script was "Listen up you flat-chested hoe. If I'm gonna stay here, you're gonna have to live under my rules. I will need at least two bidets", which helped him immediately get into the character of Angel Dust.[79] Development Angel portrait Angel's first redesign The date of Angel Dust's creation as one of Vivziepop's characters is February 9, 2013,[80][81] during her time in the School of Visual Arts. Angel Dust's first appearance on Viziepop's current YouTube channel was in a video called "In the Arms of an Angel" that she uploaded on September 13, 2013, where the camera zooms in on an image of Angel Dust as the song "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan plays in the background. This was also the second video ever uploaded on this channel. Angel's human name, during early development, was originally intended to be "Martin", which was a reference to Martin Scorsese, but it was later changed to "Anthony".[82] During earlier development for his character, Angel was at one time planned to be from Los Angeles. Vivziepop settled on New York, however, wishing to give Angel a setting more appropriate for the traditional Brooklyn gangster voice she envisioned for him, and one that none of the other characters originated from.[83] Vivziepop talked about being unsure what specific drug Angel actually died from. She thought that it was likely "something bad", like heroine or cocaine, but was also open to the idea that it could have been PCP, Angel's namesake drug, angel dust.[84] In earlier reference sheets for his character, Vivziepop described Angel as "very genderfluid",[85] but later moved on from that identity as she continued to develop the character. In a 2016 speed draw video, she stated that she didn't think the genderfluid label applied to him much anymore and that he just isn't offended when people misgender him. She went on to say that, unless in drag, he identifies as male.[11] When asked on development streams about Angel's apparent flat crotch, Vivziepop said that, alongside the general cartoon logic of his design, she thought it made sense that Angel had a retractable penis, similar to his retractable set of arms.[86] In earlier artworks that featured Angel Dust's earlier design iterations for ZooPhobia, Angel Dust and Vaggie were portrayed as a romantic couple within the version of the story she was currently working on.[87] She eventually decided against it and moved on, never having made it official and continuing to develop the characters in other directions, describing them as "no longer compatible".[88] When Vivziepop first created Angel and Vaggie, "Africa" by Toto was their "ship" song, and as of March 20, 2016 Vivziepop still thinks it is the only song they can bond over.[89] In 2015, Vivziepop's headcanon voice for Angel Dust was Billy Flynn from the film Chicago and David Veltri from the film The Wedding Singer.[90] Angel2 After Angel received his biggest thematic redesign around 2015, shifting him from the more masculine gangster to the more androgynous porn star, Vivziepop received some confusion from fans, who perceived his redesign as lacking flaws. This prompted Vivziepop to explain the foundations of Angel's personality in depth for the first time, describing him as a "preservative, insensitive asshole, who points out the flaws in others to make up for his own crippling insecurities". She emphasized his internal self-loathing and concluded by describing Angel as "cynical, guarded, and not afraid to hurt others to protect himself", highlighting how all his problems are of his own making.[91][92] As Angel's character was still firmly in later-stage development, it's unclear how accurate this remains for his character, but elements of it are reflected in the pilot and prequel comic. Angel's original character, which was planned to appear in Vivziepop's ZooPhobia comic, had a biological daughter, and as late into Angel's development at the initial planning stages for the pilot in mid-2017, Vivziepop was still unclear if Angel being a father would continue to be an element of his current character. She eventually decided against it, but it was a one of the longer hold-over concepts from his old character to be abandoned.[93] During earlier development streams, Vivziepop explained that one of the reasons Angel is so sexual in Hell is because he wasn't able to be that person during his living life. He got into hard drugs and had some experiences, but he wasn't able to be his authentically "loose and expressive" self. His attitude in Hell is one that was formed in reaction to this.[94] On the same stream, Vivziepop described Angel as priding himself on his looks and thinking that they're really all he's good for.[95] Vivziepop also expressed her wish to give Angel a group of drag queen and stripper friends from his workplace within the show, who would ideally be voiced by real porn stars.[96] On an art stream, Vivziepop mentioned that she thinks Angel has a preference to bottom in the bedroom, outside of his work.[97] In an earlier development stream, when asked if Angel is venomous, Vivziepop stated she did not think Angel was venomous due to being based on the jumping spider.[98] However, in a later stream she says that Angel's bite is venomous, but explained that venom in Hell can't actually kill anyone, it just causes temporary pain or disfigurement and makes them fall ill.[22] Vivziepop talked about Angel being a particularly tricky character for her to write, admitting that she felt he had a wit and a snark that somewhat eluded her skill level, and that she had to get into a very specific head-space to tap into his confidence.[99] Vivziepop cited Roger from American Dad as a source of inspiration when creating Angel Dust's character. In his original draft, Angel apparently shared more traits in common with him, being a "ridiculous drugged-out psychopath". Where they now differ is in Roger's intentional lack of depth and empathy for the comedy show he exists in, whereas Angel now has more of a complex interior life with motivations and feelings.[100] When asked whether Angel will experience sadness or heartbreak in the show, Vivziepop replied "one hundred percent". Stating that Angel is one of the more emotional characters in the show, with Dave Capdevielle adding "There's a bit of drama, for sure".[101] At the Momocon 2019 Hazbin Hotel panel, Vivziepop mentioned that Angel would be getting a love interest during the show. She gave no indication as to whom it may be, talking about how difficult she finds keeping upcoming couples on her projects quiet, something she has failed to do in the past, but is determined when it comes to Hazbin Hotel.Anthony was born on April 1st[1][2] alongside his twin sister, Molly, in the early 20th century. He came from an Italian mob family in New York City.[3][4] He died in his early-mid 30s in 1947 following a drug overdose.[5][6] Upon entering Hell, Anthony quickly became involved in sex work, cutting ties with his family's mob-related activities,[7] and adopted the name "Angel Dust". He eventually met and signed a contract with Valentino.[8] This gave Valentino ownership of Angel's soul and put him under his employment at his porn studio,[9] which allowed Angel to eventually become one of the biggest adult film superstars in Hell.[10] Continuing to drown out his world with narcotics and sex along with his twisted sense of humor,[6] Angel followed a path of self-destruction to cope and in the hopes that if he ruined himself enough Valentino would no longer want him as "his favorite toy" and release him from their contract.[8] Angel at some point starred in a kidnapping BDSM film which won him a "Sex-x-xi" award over another actress, Tiffany Titfucker.[8] At some point, Angel Dust was gifted a demon pig named Fat Nuggets from Valentino.[11] "Dirty Healings" comic Dirty Healings (comic) 11 Angel Dust meeting Charlie Two weeks prior to the pilot, Angel Dust is unhappily pushed into working on the street to make money for Valentino, who demands he make up for the lost revenue from missing a gangbang film shoot. There, he meets Charlie and Vaggie, mistaking them for customers as they pull their limo up alongside him. The two offer to pay Angel if he listens to them, which he agrees to, knowing he has money to make, and they pitch him their concept for the Happy Hotel. Charlie is able to see right through Angel's flippant bravado, which unnerves him, and he makes a show of being extremely amused by the entire idea. When Vaggie suggests they find someone else, Angel seems offended at the rejection and suddenly changes his mind on principle, volunteering to become the Hotel's first patron, claiming he is "3 months behind on rent" and doesn't wish to pay by other means. Charlie thanks him ecstatically and pays Angel a hefty sum for helping them, which confuses him greatly. Hazbin Hotel pilot Angel shoots Angel Dust in a gang war After being clean and staying mostly out of trouble for two weeks, Angel is asked by his close friend, Cherri Bomb, to assist her in a turf war against Sir Pentious; he agrees and unknowingly threatens the Hotel's reputation before it has a chance to get off the ground, as the 666 News Studio was broadcasting his exploits across Hell. After being chastised severely by Vaggie on the return drive, Angel arrives back at the hotel, immediately complaining about the lack of food to eat. However, he quickly stops when he sees Charlie sad and on the verge of tears. Soon after, the Radio Demon known as Alastor arrives at the Hotel and Vaggie explains his origins to Angel as he hadn't known who Alastor was. Angel catches him off-guard by mentioning his skills lie in his sexual services, which Alastor swiftly refuses. When Vaggie demands that they remove the newly created bar in the lobby, Angel immediately tackles her and insists that they are going to keep it. Angel then quickly begins flirting with the newly hired bartender, Husk, who bluntly tells him to "go fuck himself", which Angel replies that he will only do it if Husk watches him, which irritates the latter. Angel Dust then watches and is shocked when Alastor easily defeats Sir Pentious. As the group return to the hotel Angel blows Husk a kiss, much to the frustration of the latter. Hazbin Hotel Season 1 "Overture" While Charlie is out to pitch her idea to Heaven, Angel Dust, along with the rest of the Hotel gang, try making a commercial for the Hotel. Angel spends his time flirting with Husk rather taking the ad seriously. After Alastor finally agrees to help, Angel is given a new set of clothes for the filming. Everyone at the hotel shocked 2 The Hotel reaction to purge arriving early When Charlie returns after her failed meeting, it is shown that Angel and the rest of the staff were able to work together to make a full-length commercial for the hotel. As the commercial begins, it is interrupted by the breaking news that the next extermination is coming 6 months early. Angel's reaction to the news seems to be a mix of confusion and concern. "Radio Killed the Video Star" The Hotel is attacked by Sir Pentious, who immediately gets the fight beaten by Alastor, much to Angel's amusement. Angel Dust and Pentious doing a skit Angel Dust doing a skit with Sir Pentious Later, Sir Pentious returns to the Hotel and despite Angel Dust and Vaggie's protests, Charlie lets him stay. During Hotel activities, Angel Dust gets annoyed by Sir Pentious' sucking up, and after doing a play where he acted as a crackhead and Sir Pentious getting praised by Charlie, he sullenly returns to his room where he listens to several voice messages from Valentino, before hearing a voice telling him that he can never change who he is and that he'll see him soon. Angel Dust goes to get a drink only to discover Sir Pentious was a spy and working for the Vees. The two get in a fight until Charlie and Vaggie walk in and Sir Pentious tries to lie his way out, but Angel Dust shows them the camera. After Sir Pentious tries to call Vox for help and is mocked for his failure, Sir Pentious gives up, asking for his death to be quick, and although Angel Dust and Vaggie are more than happy to kill him, Charlie intervenes and gives Sir Pentious a second chance. "Scrambled Eggs" Hazbin Hotel Season 1 Husk & Angel Dust Trailer - 1 Angel Dust and Husk trust fall With distrust within the group, Vaggie overseas the Hotel activity for the day and has everyone do trust falls. Angel Dust is caught by Husk, but after hitting on him, Husk drops him. After trust falls fail, Angel Dust suggests an idea and takes the group to a BDSM club. Vaggie then brings the group to a section of the city in the midst of a turf war and throws Angel Dust and Sir Pentious into the middle of the battle to build trust through survival. Later, Angel, Husk, Sir Pentious, and Niffty sit in the Hotel laughing amongst themselves after the crazy battle against the demons in the turf war. "Masquerade" HHs1e4 - Val threaten Angel Valentino abusing Angel Dust For show and tell day, Angel Dust shows his best porno, much to the distaste of others and Husk calling it terrible. Angel Dust was about to argue back but is forcibly called into work by Valentino. While filming, Charlie arrives and Angel Dust immediately tries to get her away before Valentino sees her. When Charlie accidentally ruins the set, Valentino takes Angel Dust away and abuses him, telling him Charlie can't help him as he owns his soul via contract. Angel Dust pleas for Valentino not to hurt her and that he will make her leave, to Valentino's sustained anger. When they return to set, Charlie is enraged at Valentino abuse towards Angel Dust, but before she can do anything, Angel Dust angrily tells her to leave and that she ruined everything. Saddened by his words, Charlie leaves and Angel continues his work, regretting that he was forced to do that. After a painful day at work, Angel returns to the Hotel to drink. Acting like everything was fine, Husk calls him out on his insincere behavior, causing Angel to angrily storm off. Yeah, and uh... Angel Dust and Husk opening up Angel Dust is seen drinking and doing drugs with a compony of gangster shark demons at a bar, before Husk sees one of them spike Angel's drink with a Love Potion. Husk intervenes and drags Angel out of the bar, much to Angel's annoyance. The two argue, and after Husk tells Angel to cut the act, he professes to Husk that its not an act; he is self-destroying himself in hopes Valentino will set him free. Husk tells Angel he was an Overlord once and gives Angel advice. The two are attacked by the shark gangsters, before the two of them defeat the sharks as a team. The whole exchange creates a new level of friendship and respect between the two. Back at the Hotel, Charlie tearfully hugs Angel and apologizes for getting him in trouble. Angel smiles, thanking her for caring about him, causing Charlie to cry at the beauty of his kindness, and Angel gives her to Vaggie. Then, Husk offers Angel a drink afterwards. "Dad Beat Dad" A-renovation The Hotel greets Lucifer Angel Dust, along with the rest of the Hotel group, get ready for Lucifer Morningstar to visit. Everyone is surprised by what Lucifer actually looks like. Angel Dust, along with Husk and Sir Pentious, seem to be enjoying watching Alastor and Lucifer argue until Mimzy arrives. Mimzy tells Angel Dust and Sir Pentious about Alastor's past until the Hotel is attacked by loan sharks looking for her. The group get ready to fight but Alastor takes care of the demons. Angel Dust watches Charlie and Lucifer's reconciliation and Lucifer's agreement to help the Hotel. "Welcome to Heaven" After a painful day at work, Angel Dust returns home only to be greeted by his friend Cherri Bomb, who takes Angel, along with Sir Pentious, Niffty and Husk on a night into the city while Charlie and Vaggie travel to Heaven. Cherri Bomb tries to get Angel Dust to do drugs while Husk tries to talk him out. Angel Dust gives in and starts doing shots of alcohol with everyone. Angel Stands Up To Val Angel Dust stands up to Valentino Angel Dust keeps Niffty out of trouble and protects her by standing up to Valentino. He then backhands Angel and threatens him by claiming he will make the next day at work horrible for him as punishment for being publicly humiliated, but he says it was worth it and they leave the club. Afterwards, Angel offers Cherri Bomb to join the Hotel, but she refuses. "Hello Rosie!" Angel Dust, along with the rest of the Hotel members, talk to Vaggie about her being a former Exorcist, with Angel remarking about how he thinks she might be sensitive about her lack of wings, and her small breasts. While Charlie leaves with Alastor, Vaggie admits that she cannot guarantee their safety at the hotel anymore, and that she doesn't expect any of them to have stayed by the time she gets back from learning how Carmilla Carmine killed an angel. B-renovation Angel Dust stays behind to fight While the three were gone, Angel, Husk, Niffty, and Sir Pentious spend their time building up defenses for the Hotel. Charlie and Vaggie are surprised and grateful they stayed. "The Show Must Go On" Angel Dust, along with the rest of Hotel, get ready for Extermination day by training themselves and the cannibals how to fight the exorcists and how to use angelic weapons. Angel is seen doing target practice with Husk by throwing cards like Clay Pigeons and having Angel shoot them out of the air. When Vaggie calls for drinks, Angel Dust is seen sharing a drink with Husk, and after General Pentious talks Cherri Bomb, Angel tells Cherri that he's heard General Pentious has two penises. Everyone reunited to fight The Hotel members preparing war against the Angels The next day, Adam along with his Exorcists army, arrive at the hotel and begin fighting with the cannibals and hotel residents. After Alastor's shield goes up, Angel is seen tag-teaming with Cherri Bomb, killing many angels in the process. Later, Angel saves an Egg Boi, Frank, from an angel before Adam starts shooting at the hotel. Later on, he watches in sadness as General Pentious tries to fight Adam only to be immediately vaporized. Angel is seen watching from the ground as Charlie and Adam fight. As Adam has Charlie pinned, Angel, Husk, and Cherri are seen surrounded by exorcists in imminent danger before Lucifer shows up, and when Lucifer says he's going to fuck Adam, Angel is seen raising his eyebrow at the unintentional sexual phrasing Lucifer used. After Lucifer beats Adam, Angel watches shocked as Niffty repeatedly stabs Adam in front of their very eyes. After the fight, Angel Dust searches for and finds Fat Nuggets, and happily hugs his pet pig in his arms. Then, Angel helps rebuild the Hotel with the rest of the staff, as well as Cherri Bomb and Lucifer.
