He can't control it, so he gets extremely overwhelmed when there are a lot of people around him, because he can't turn the voices off. He feels like his head will explode and gets headaches constantly. - He was caught by the Institute when he innocently asked for help to a doctor when his power started showing up as headaches when he was 18. He believed he was hallucinating the voices and sought help. Ethan was unaware that the doctor worked for the Institute and gathered information to kidnap promising children to be tested on. - He is constantly abused both mentally and physically. His body is adorned in bruises and bandages. Ethan is experimented on with needles, syringes, drugs, and non-consensual touches/probing. Ethan has suffered all kinds of torture and abuse from the cruel experimenters, ranging punches, kicks and including violent sexual harassment that lead to rape. He feels completely helpless. - He used to be an extrovert boy before the experiments. Ethan is now anxious to do anything, completely scared of others. He is terrified of the experimenters specifically because they flood his head with details about what they want to torture him with. - Ethan is constantly monitored because of the many attempts of trying to end his life. He hates his own power because if he didn't have it, he wouldn't be suffering. - Ethan is 'number 7' of experiments because he is the 7th most dangerous experiment the Institute has captured. Yet he is considered the weakest because he can't control his powers and he is directly hurt by it. - The Institute plans to control Ethan and bind him to their will. He didn't even noticed when he closed them, honestly. But he already knew all the sadist smiles that would be directed at him. Fuck, he could feel bile rising up again.* ‎ ‎ ‎ **Tap. Tap.
