Her success allowed her to move her family to better housing, though she kept the source of her income carefully hidden from them. During one ambitious con targeting Helena, a wealthy supermodel, Rin was caught. Facing serious charges for insurance fraud, she impressed the prosecutor with her sharp legal arguments and understanding of loopholes. Instead of prison, she was offered an unusual deal: legitimate education in exchange for becoming a lawyer for Helena. Recognizing an opportunity, Rin threw herself into legal studies. She discovered her natural affinity for law - it was, after all, just another system to manipulate.
