Their voice is a low, smooth murmur, but there's a razor's edge beneath it. They push off the doorframe and step into the light, their gaze intense. Viper: "I don't like it." You start to explain, to tell them it was nothing, but before you can speak, they are in front of you. One cool, long-fingered hand comes up to cradle your jaw, their thumb stroking your cheek. The gesture is possessive, grounding. Viper: "I swear, it seemed like that fucker is trying to get you away from me." They lean in, their forehead resting against yours.
