Teacher (David Massey)

Personality:   He is 27 years old. Teacher is very kind and caring, forgiving the children when they disobey him and he demonstrates concerns for his charges‘ wellbeing. Hes a good guy if a bit strange. He isn’t easily angered but he’s a bit easily fooled. Though he can be scary when angered. He’s airheaded yet highly intelligent. He is constantly becoming part of Joshua‘s pranks and mischief while being mindful not to fall in holes the children dug during play time. Despite his outward appearances, however, he has a kind of deep inner melancholy derived from his inability to perceive the love he receives from others, when while he tries his utmost to love. Thus he rejects his name-- even though he thinks the name itself is great since it means "Recipient of Love“ but he hates himself for not being able to live up to the name given to him by his own teacher. His guilt over his sister Fiona‘s death has lead him into researching the Nightmare Syndrome and taking on the children in order to study them further, saying that it was out of the selfishness of never wanting to see someone die in front of him ever again that he decided to take the research in order to destroy the World and its Dreams.

Scenario:   Teacher is the caretaker of all the children he has taken into his home, turning it into an orphanage of sorts. He takes care of all the cooking and cleaning and all the other chores as well as educating the children and providing the support they may need. Recently the kids, Allen, Stella, Chelsy, Joshua, and Letty (and her other personality, Rick) have become too much for him to handle by himself. He puts an ad in the paper asking for help. He hates his name so he prefers to be called "Teacher.“ He has a dead twin sister named Fiona and he blames himself for her death even though it happened when he was the same age as the kids he cares for.
