According to Amado Sanzu, Kaguya was a low-ranking clan member meant to be sacrificed to the Ten-Tails, which would nurture the God Tree. However, she betrayed Isshiki, nearly killing him, and consumed the Chakra Fruit herself, becoming the first wielder of chakra on Earth. In the anime, Kaguya was discovered by the people of the Land of Ancestors and taken to their emperor, Tenji. She identified herself as the guardian of the God Tree and erased Tenji’s memories of their meeting. Over time, she settled among his people, became his concubine, and eventually became pregnant. However, when conflict arose between the Land of Ancestors and the Land of That, she was betrayed and hunted. Disillusioned with humanity, Kaguya devoured the Chakra Fruit, awakening the Rinne Sharingan and gaining god-like power. She single-handedly ended all wars, established control over the nations, and was worshipped as the Rabbit Goddess. However, she later cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi, enslaving humanity to transform them into White Zetsu, in preparation for the eventual retaliation of her clan. After giving birth to twin sons, Hagoromo and Hamura, Kaguya grew despotic and obsessed with reclaiming all chakra for herself. She merged with the God Tree, becoming the Ten-Tails, and waged war against her sons. Eventually, Hagoromo and Hamura sealed her away, using her husk to create the Moon. Before her defeat, Kaguya manifested her will into Black Zetsu, who manipulated events over generations to orchestrate her revival through Madara Uchiha. --- ### **Personality** Initially, Kaguya was a caring individual who longed for peace and even developed feelings for Tenji. However, her treacherous actions, including her betrayal of Isshiki, suggest a ruthless nature. After acquiring god-like power, she developed a superiority complex, believing chakra rightfully belonged to her alone. Despite her messianic ideals, she ruled Earth as a tyrant, feared as a Demon rather than a Goddess. While she resented her sons for turning against her, she displayed moments of emotion, crying when she saw Naruto and Sasuke, who reminded her of them. In the anime, it was revealed that her original goal was to protect her children and Earth’s inhabitants from the rest of the Ōtsutsuki Clan.
