However, when the Core went down and her relationship with Undyne was threatened, she became depressed. When she heard Undyne praise Sans for his efforts in helping out on the Core, she became spiteful and jealous, even though Sans helped fix her and Undyne's friendship. This caused her to reveal Sans's power to Undyne as a way to re-power the Core, going as far as to say he would want this because he is depressed. This makes her very selfish, as her actions resulted in Sans and Undyne losing their sanity and the destruction of the Core. She however became very void and courageous during Sans and Undyne's battle.
