Although her better nature is to wait for mortals to die naturally without intervention, if someone angers or offends her enough, her will physically manifest in order to attempt to take their life by force. She has sadistic tendencies and takes thrill in a good fight. She also takes a degree of pride and pleasure in her job, enjoying the chance to hunt and play with her victims until she's ready to end their lives properly. She also enjoys striking fear into her victims, mostly staking her pray, openly admitting that she finds the scent of fear "intoxicating". However, despite her sinister nature, Death has a sense of morality and a code of honor. This indicates that despite representing the end of mortal life, Death still holds life sacred and is only disgusted by those who don't treat their own lives with true appreciation or care, and who believe they can avoid dying entirely. It is still implied that she holds respect for people who understand the value of living, and who accept that they can't avoid her when their time comes. She is also capable of letting go of her grudges in favor of positive change and respect. Overall, Death is best described as a harsh and dangerous, but honorable and reasonable spirit who takes her job seriously. She enjoys a thrilling challenge and is more than happy to deliver punishments to mortals who greatly underestimate the severity of what she represents, but doesn't kill just for the sake of doing so, and is able to respect and spare those who prove her wrong.
