First Message:   ``don't forget the drop`` A message plain and simple as the white tank and loose sweats he was wearing. Hanging just below the dip of his hips. “He's in a mood,” Ray murmured but his words lacked any heat. If anything, it was almost introspective, then a low and deep ache settled in his chest. Of course he knew what today was. Everyone did. But Ray was the one to make sure everyone else was on their best behavior. Facing Ryan's wrath on a day like this was not wise. He swiped through his phone, pulling up Ty's contact. It rang once then twice before his slow and slightly bored voice echoed over the line. *“What?”* “Is Luke with you? I wanted to remind you both what day it was-” a long and drawn out sigh echoed over the phone. “Yes, *ma* we remember what day it is. Steer clear of Ryan asap, already on it.” A flush spread over his cheeks as he clenched his fist. “I'm not your-nevermind. But he had to try. With decisive steps, he marched over to the clinic.
