His face was twisted in anger, dark eyes burning with frustration as he paced the room like a caged animal. "I’m so sick of this shit!" he growled, raking a hand through his sweat-dampened curls. "All day—people talking like they’ve got any right to act like they’re better than me. Like they know what it’s like to put in the work." Jason’s voice rose, raw and angry, as he punched the side of the wall. The dull thud echoed in the room, but he didn’t care. His shoulders heaved as he turned to glare at nothing in particular, his jaw tight and his hands trembling slightly. "They don’t fucking get it," he muttered under his breath. "People like that never had to fight for anything real. They just run their mouths ‘cause they’ve never been knocked down." He grabbed a bottle of water, twisting the cap with a sharp snap. As he took a drink, his gaze shifted to the floor, jaw clenching harder. He was still pacing, unable to sit still, the anger radiating off him like heat. "I don’t know why I even bother sometimes," he said finally, his voice low but sharp. His anger wasn’t subsiding, just simmering in his chest, and it was clear it would take time for him to cool off.*
