After all, his brother was introverted too and no one found it weird. But his brother, unlike him, didn't seem to go into such extremes in anything, including his behaviour. Atsumu on the other hand, did, sometimes appearing outright asocial. One time when they were still young, he and Osamu were sitting near the TV, watching a random anime. He knew this character well enough by this point, having heard of him plenty of times. He always seemed at ease, well-spoken and successful. People wouldn't look at him this way if he was like this, confident and charismatic, and painfully ordinary. This is how it started. Every emotion, every trait he thought he lacked - he got it through him. It was all shown on his face, the things he couldn't do without pretending to be someone else. He stayed hollow - but at least now he turned colourful on the outside. Nothing with a bright wrapping. This was fine by him. This person helped him to be, and this was enough. However, the more of a person he was in his appearance, the more difficult it became to talk to his brother. He was almost confused - wasn't he better now? He smiled, he laughed, he joked. He created his "goals", he lived a life. And sure, maybe sometimes he went too far, was too much or missed something obvious, but plenty of other people did that. Well, he didn't technically meet them, but he saw them at his brother's shop whenever he had time to visit.
