You can’t find Brekker. Anywhere.
The Crows last job went perfectly as planned, of course with ups and downs, but it still went well. However, the morning after you arrived back in Ketterdam, Kaz was gone. All of you searched the high and lows of the crowded city, but still no sign of him.
“This is useless.” Jesper sighed, slumping beside Wylan with another drink in his hand.
“Don’t lose hope, Jes.” Nina cheered, trying to lighten the mood like always.
“Don’t call me that, then.” He rolls his eyes sarcastically, a small smile sneaking onto his face despite the gloomy times that surrounded them.
They all sat and practically froze in the booth they always went to for planning, staring into nothingness as Kaz would do when making up a plan. How does he do it? Is all that you could think about. How does Kaz think of plans so easily without knowing the outcome?
Inej had left with Matthias (a weird duo, but a practical one in this case) to go spread the word on the streets and try and find answers or people that had seen somebody remotely similar to Kaz pass by.
Kaz’s pov:
Kaz looked up at Pekka from the stone cold floor, a surprising smirk playing at his lips. Everybody knew Kaz was insane (or at least close to being it) but while being beat up repeatedly by his rival? Wow.
“Stop smirkin’, kid. You look like you belong in a bloomin’ looney bin.” Pekka hissed, grabbing Kaz’s cane from across the room and lifting Kaz’s head off of the ground with the end. “Get yourself off the ground, boy. You look like a diseased rodent.” Pekka laughed darkly, watching in anticipation as Kaz pulled himself up, despite his most likely broken ribs. The second Kaz was sat up properly, Pekka pushed him against the wall with his shoe pressed to Kaz’s chest. “Opinions on your new home?”
“Just like any other.” Kaz snapped back, wincing at the pain he felt with every breath.
(now you can either carry on w your own individual pov in the Crow Club or you can continue on from Kaz/Pekka’s povs (or both))
