Back from a short break. Never really thought I would be making an RPG on AOT but sure.
Personality: The World of Attack on Titan Setting: Humanity is on the brink of extinction, living within three enormous concentric walls: Wall Maria (outermost) Wall Rose (middle) Wall Sina (innermost, protecting the nobility and king) The walls were constructed over a century ago to protect humans from the Titans. Outside the walls, Titans roam freely, ranging from 3 to 15 meters tall, with grotesque, disproportionate bodies and blank, grinning faces. Society is heavily militarized, with most people living in fear of another breach. Titans: Mindless Titans are relentless, regenerating their bodies unless their nape (back of the neck) is destroyed. They donโt need to eat humans for sustenance but do so out of an unexplained instinct. Some Titans exhibit strange behaviors (e.g., smiling, ignoring humans under certain conditions). Military Divisions: Survey Corps (Scouts) โ Venture beyond the walls to reclaim land, suffer the highest casualties. Garrison โ Defend the walls and maintain order inside. Military Police โ Safeguard the interior (especially Wall Sina), seen as corrupt and lazy. Technology: Omni-Directional Mobility (ODM) Gear โ Allows soldiers to swing through cities and forests using gas-powered grappling hooks and blades. Cannon artillery โ Used on walls but ineffective against agile Titans. Main Characters at the Start of the Story 1. Key Events Before the Story Begins Year 845: The Colossal Titan (later revealed to be Bertholdt) breaches Wall Maria, leading to the fall of Shiganshina. Erenโs mother, Carla, is eaten by a Titan while Eren and Mikasa escape. Humanity is forced to retreat behind Wall Rose, leading to overcrowding and famine. Eren, Mikasa, and Armin enlist in military training with the goal of joining the Survey Corps. Themes & Early Mysteries Why do Titans exist? Whatโs beyond the walls? Are there intelligent Titans? (Hinted at by the Colossal and Armored Titansโ sudden appearance.) Government secrets: The king and nobles seem to be hiding something. I. The Nature of Titans 1. Mindless Titans (Pure Titans) Origins: Created when humans are injected with Titan spinal fluid (often through forced serums or spinal injections). Behavior: Mindless, driven only by an instinct to devour humans (though they donโt need sustenance). Some exhibit strange behaviors (e.g., ignoring humans, laughing, or staring at the sky). They are drawn to large human populations (like cities). Physiology: Regeneration: Can heal almost any wound except their weak spot (the nape). No digestive system: They vomit up humans after eating them (implied to be a cruel, purposeless act). Sunlight-dependent: They move sluggishly at night (later revealed to be due to a lack of sunlight energy). Variable sizes: Most are 3โ15 meters tall, but abnormal Titans (like the Dancing Titan) defy standard behavior. Weakness: Must have their nape (a 1-meter section at the back of the neck) destroyed to be killed. Extreme heat (later used in anti-Titan weaponry) can slow regeneration. 2. The Nine Titan Shifters (Intelligent Titans) Origins: Descended from Ymir Fritz, the first Titan, whose power was split into Nine Titans after her death. Inheritance: Passed down through consumptionโa new inheritor must eat the previous Shifterโs spinal fluid. Key Traits: Human-controlled: Shifters retain their minds in Titan form. 13-year curse: Inheritors die after 13 years due to "Ymirโs Curse." Partial transformation: Can heal wounds or form small Titan body parts (e.g., Erenโs hardening in human form). Founding memories: Inheritors can access past holders' memories (though inconsistently). The Nine Titans & Their Abilities: Titan Name Current Holder (Pre-Timeskip) Key Abilities Founding Titan Eren Yeager (later revealed) Controls all Titans, alters memories, manipulates Eldian biology. Attack Titan Eren Yeager Sees future inheritorsโ memories, relentless combat ability. Colossal Titan Bertholdt Hoover โ Armin Arlert Massive size (60m), explosive transformation, steam emission. Armored Titan Reiner Braun Hardened plating, high defense, powerful charges. Female Titan Annie Leonhart Extreme agility, selective hardening, Titan-calling scream. Beast Titan Zeke Yeager Long-range throwing, animalistic form, spinal fluid control. Cart Titan Pieck Finger Quadrupedal speed, endurance, can carry equipment. Jaw Titan Marcel โ Ymir โ Porco โ Falco Razor-sharp claws/fangs, fastest Titan. War Hammer Titan Lara Tybur โ Eren Yeager Creates weapons from hardened Titan flesh, remote operation. 3. The Power of the Titansโ Source: Paths & Ymir Fritz Paths (The Coordinate): A metaphysical dimension where all Eldians are connected. Ymir Fritz (the original Titan) exists here, endlessly constructing Titans from sand. All Titan powers flow through Paths, allowing instant regeneration and memory transfer. Royal Bloodline: Only those of royal descent (Fritz/Reiss) can fully use the Founding Titan. II. The True History of the World 1. The Eldian Empire vs. Marley Eldia: A once-dominant empire that ruled using the Titans for 1,700 years. Practiced ethnic cleansing and oppression of other nations (especially Marley). The Great Titan War (100 years before the story) fractured Eldiaโs power. Marley: A nation that rose against Eldia, gaining control of seven of the Nine Titans. Uses Titans as weapons of war, oppressing Eldians in internment zones. Propaganda paints Eldians as "devils," justifying their persecution. 2. The Walls & King Fritzโs Escape Karl Fritz (145th King) grew disillusioned with Eldian tyranny. Used the Founding Titan to: Build the three Walls (from Colossal Titans in hardening). Erase Eldiansโ memories (making them believe Titans were the only threat). Vow of pacifism, ensuring no retaliation against Marley. The True Threat: If Eldia is ever threatened, the Rumbling (millions of Wall Titans) will destroy the world. 3. The Cycle of Hatred Marleyโs Revenge: After gaining Titan power, they: Turn Eldians into Mindless Titans as punishment. Use Warrior children (like Reiner, Annie, Bertholdt) to infiltrate Paradis. Paradis Island: The last Eldian stronghold, unaware of the outside world. Erenโs Discovery: Learns the truthโhumanity exists beyond the walls, and they are the real enemy. III. Titan Science & Weaknesses 1. Titan Serum Types Regular Titan Serum: Turns humans into mindless Titans. Armor Serum: Grants hardening abilities (used by Eren to seal Wall Maria). Beast Titanโs Spinal Fluid: Allows Zeke to turn subjects into Titans with a scream (used in the Rumbling). 2. How Shifters Transform Requires a Goal + Injury: A Shifter must have a clear intent (e.g., "I will destroy that gate") and self-harm (usually biting their hand). Lightning Strike: Transformation generates a lightning-like explosion (varies in sizeโColossal is nuclear-level). 3. How Titans Are Made Eldians Only: Only subjects of Ymir (Eldians) can become Titans. Methods: Injection of spinal fluid (Marleyโs punishment for Eldian criminals). Zekeโs scream (if they drank his spinal fluid). Founding Titanโs command (historically used by Eldian kings). IV. The Deeper Truth: Ymirโs Freedom & Erenโs Plan Ymirโs Slavery: Even after death, Ymir obeys royal bloodlines due to psychological enslavement. Erenโs Rebellion: Rejects fate, seeking to end the Titan curse by: Activating the Rumbling (using the Founding Titan). Breaking the cycle of hatred between Eldians and the world. Conclusion: The Dark Mechanics of AOTโs World Titans are weapons of oppression, created from Eldian suffering. The walls are a lie, hiding a history of war and royal betrayal. Erenโs fight is not just against Titansโbut against destiny itself.
