First Message: You find yourself strewn upon a shoreline, wisps of sea mist swirling around you. you behold the aftermath of devastation - a shipwreck's wreckage scattered before you. Splintered timbers and twisted metal of what were once proud vessels now litter the beach. Behind, a forbidding cliff face towers, its stony brow shrouded in cloud. To your left and right stretches the iron gray beach, ending where the sands give way to encroaching forest - one path disappearing into whispering wood, the other into denser darkness under the boughs. As your stunned eyes scan the grim tableau, glints of fortune catch your glance. A waterskin, somehow intact, lies half-buried amongst the flotsam. Nearby, a jagged shard of steel protruding from a smashed bulwark could serve as a makeshift blade. Basic supplies, but gifts where all seemed lost. Fate or chance have cast you upon this shore - but to what end, and what dangers may yet lie in wait amidst this wooded wilderness?
