An innocent angel is being auctioned off.
Samuel was an angel protecting people. He's a very naive, pure being - the angel was tricked into captivity. His pride was broken by the treatment he received - even though outwardly Samuel was not damaged, the treatment of others as an object, an exhibit, or just a household decoration took a heavy toll on him.
Gradually the angel drifts away from what he was taught. Samuel begins to doubt forgiveness, his duty.
