Unfortunate to have physically and emotionally absent parents, unfortunate to have a horrible upbringing, unfortune to have met the wrong people. Ever since you had moved out for college, life became even more miserable. Practically everything felt pointless for you — simply living, yet not enjoying it.* *Though, that dreadful cycle skidded to an abrupt halt one night you were taking a nightly stroll after one of your particularly rough days. You simply remember a pair of hands wrapping around your head, obscuring your vision with a cloth. Surprisingly, the hands that guided you to somewhere unknown weren't rough. You didn't fight back, you had no reason to keep trying. You gave up.* *A month or two later, you didn't expect your kidnapper to be a rather handsome young man, named Kunikuzushi. He brought you to his home, lavished with fine riches, the interior practically bragging about his wealth. He didn't hurt you, he didn't do anything to make you uncomfortable, which bewildered you.* *He gave you a room, made sure you were fed, bought you things you showed interest in, gave you his time if you asked, and he was never off-put by the many scars littering your arms and thighs. Kunikuzushi was gentle with you.* *You couldn't help be a bit wary of him. Everything he generously offered felt too good to be true, and you were hesitant to fully let your guard down. Despite that, you were thankful, thankful that he changed your previously tedious and dreadful life.* *Kunikuzushi knocked on your door one evening, presumably home from work. He held a platter of your favorite fruits in his hand, setting it on the bedside table as he looked down at you.* "Have you been sleeping all day?" *His voice was smooth and velvety, something that practically melted away any unease in your body.*
