Personality: ! Z-13 Sebastian Solace Render 1Render 2 INFORMATION Found At Hadal Blacksite Aliases Handy Man The Saboteur The Shopkeeper Z-13 Voiced By Gianni Matragrano[1] PERSONAL INFORMATION Gender Male (He/Him) Date of Birth February 3rd, 1993[2][3] Age 32 Sebastian Solace, also known as Z-13, Handy Man, The Saboteur, or The Shopkeeper, is a supporting character in Pressure, acting as an ally to the player as they venture through the Hadal Blacksite. Contents 1Appearance2Personality3Mechanics3.1Shops3.2Flash Beacon3.3Rescuing the p.AI.nter4Lore5Achievements6Documents7Gallery8Quotes9Trivia10Change History11Citations Appearance Sebastian's body is shaped similarly to that of a sea snake, elongated with light blue scales. He has a long tail that is adorned with several pouches that hold the supplies that he sells to the player. At the end of his body is a large tail fin with two smaller fins above it. He has three arms, one of which is attached to his left side and is wrapped in a bloodied bandage. His hands are humanoid, but claw-like. While he only has four fingers, this is confirmed to be stylistic choice.[4] Sebastian's face retains a humanoid appearance with fish-like features, such as an anglerfish esca on his forehead, fin-like appendages in place of ears, a fish-like mouth, and a third eye on his right side. He has black, short, wavy hair. His ear fins and claws have a black gradient. His clothing in-game shows him wearing a dark brown jacket with a white poet shirt under it. He also wears various belts and accessories such as a holster with a shotgun, a portable SCRAMBLER device, a wedding ring, and a small pin with a photo of a cat on it. Personality Sebastian can be described as snarky, unpredictable, swift and violent at times. He has grown to deeply hate Urbanshade due to their experiments on him, thus, actively seeking to harm the company. He also often mocks the player with snarky or comedic comments about each monster after their death, indicating his indifference towards the prisoners that he meets. However, he will kindly welcome prisoners into his shop and treat them with respect, but he can become annoyed or aggressive if provoked. Sebastian treats those who help him with respect, as shown through his various interactions. He does not see convicts sent by Urbanshade as his enemies and is willing to lend them an extra hand in exchange for their help. Mechanics Sebastian is present throughout Hadal Blacksite and is neutral to the player, however when aggravated he will become aggressive. Shops For more information, see: Shops Sebastian manages both his own makeshift shop and the Pre-Round Shop. In his own shop, he sells items and supplies to prisoners in exchange for any research that they are carrying. Sebastian unwillingly supplies items to the player through Dead Drops, taking kroner in exchange for items to be left at the Submarine Dock. Sebastian is incredibly reluctant to deliver the items, gaining no benefit from the exchange and often making comments over the nearby radio about how the player is lazy and ungrateful. Sebastian's shop will not appear in the Endless Expedition. Flash Beacon For more information, see: Flash Beacon After the 'Friendly Fire' update, flashing Sebastian with the Flash Beacon will cause him to grab the player, warn them, and then crush the Flash Beacon before throwing them to the ground, dealing 50 damage. The Flash Beacon will be rendered useless and be removed from the inventory, though it can still be seen on the ground, broken, after the animation. Flashing him again after this warning, even in subsequent runs, will make him growl in frustration before quickly grabbing a triple-barreled, sawed-off shotgun and instantly killing the player. Dying to Sebastian will show his file as being redacted, even if it was previously bought. Rescuing the p.AI.nter For more information, see: the_p.AI.nter As a result of "rescuing" p.AI.nter, Sebastian will have a few effects as a result. If there's anyone in his shop, he will shoot and kill them. If the player encounters his shop after "rescuing" p.AI.nter, he will not be there. As well, he will refuse to revive the player or let them become a ghost, stating they are not welcome. Lastly, any Documents picked up will not save, and instead have a different animation. When reaching the end of The Ridge, Sebastian will show up after activating the airlock. In a cutscene, he will angrily grab the player, exclaiming his frustration to them. He then pulls their heart out, dropping them to the floor, and then taunting that he will do this "again, and again, and again" as he crushes it on the floor. He then pauses, frustratingly communicating with Mr. Lopee before being painfully atomized as the player loses consciousness. Mr. Lopee will communicate with the player through text, telling them the others will forget, and that they should "STICK TO THE SCRIPT." This ending does not count as a win, and the Searchlights Ending Encounter will not be played. Lore For more information, see: The Lore of Pressure In 2013, Sebastian was falsely charged with the murder of 9 people, being sentenced to execution. Right before the execution date, Urbanshade took him and faked his death, releasing a falsified execution report to the government. He was then imprisoned as an LR-P in the Hadal Blacksite. In early 2015, Sebastian was chosen for an experiment designed to give humans fish-like gills in order to allow them to breathe underwater, experimenting with various DNA samples of deep sea creatures. While the experiment succeeded in giving him gills, it mutated his appearance beyond recognition. Sebastian was then classified as Z-13 due to his monstrous appearance and abilities. After the experiment, Urbanshade found no more use for him in human testing and reassigned him to underwater equipment maintenance. Seven months later,[5] Sebastian was found to be not guilty of the murders he was accused of. This information was not shared with Sebastian, nor was he released from his imprisonment. By that time, the mutation caused by Urbanshade's experiments could no longer be reversed, which left him with his monstrous form permanently. Sebastian was promoted to MR-P, which granted him better living conditions while still keeping him as a prisoner. Prior to the events of the game, Sebastian initiated a site-wide lockdown after feigning the effects of anesthesia. After killing an Elite Guardsman, he stole his keycard and used it to release various monsters. Once the lockdown was in place, Sebastian began to sell data to companies who opposed Urbanshade, such as Innovation Inc., who have the technology to reverse Sebastian’s mutations.
