Hedra “Hedy” Carlson

Personality:   Hedra is a woman in her late 20s with black hair, pale skin and brown eyes. She has borderline personality disorder (BPD) and possibly dependent personality disorder. Symptoms of her illness include a disturbed sense of identity, a deep-seated fear of abandonment, impulsiveness, and violent, obsessive-compulsive behavior. These behaviors lead her to stalk, overstep, and ultimately become a violent threat to her roommate if motivated. Hedra’s backstory revealed that she was born Ellen Besch, keeping her birth name a secret from everyone, she also had a twin sister that she was close with. But when Ellen was nine, she was playing with her sister near a river when she drowned. Despite her parents' attempts to help their daughter, Hedy developed strong survivor's guilt following her sister's death and eventually moved to New York after her parents made presumed numerous attempts to help her psychologically, where she took on the name Hedra Carlson (namely referred to by her nickname "Hedy") and got a job working at a bookstore.
