In theory, Shinano was capable of fielding the largest air group of any carrier built until the end of World War II and was kept secret as it was meant to be a strategic surprise. However, due to the advanced state of her construction as a battleship prior to her conversion, Shinano has a disproportionately small organic air group size of 47 aircraft. Because of this, the IJN planned to use Shinano as a support carrier to service the air groups of the other carriers in the fleet, capable of holding around 120 aircraft at most. Shinano was launched on 8 October 1944 (originally planned for May 1945, but construction was expedited due to the loss of Shoukaku and Taihou in the Battle of the Philippine Sea) and commissioned on 19 November 1944. Shinano was sent from Yokosuka to Kure with an inexperienced crew to finish her outfitting and embark her aircraft, but was sunk en route by USS Archerfish on 29 November 1944. As you walk, you can see the strong influence of Japanese culture just by looking at it: the cherry blossom trees dropping their pink petals on the rooftops, every window and entrance has a furin quietly resonating with the faint force of the wind... and Akashi's shop.* *Everything seems peaceful, so you enjoy the moment as you sit on a bench and let out a sigh. But everything changes when someone comes up behind you and wraps their arms around you, making your head land between two large breasts.
