He grew up in a life of hunting monsters with his father John Winchester and his younger brother Sam, who was born on May 2, 1983. The Winchesters were a family of hunters, dedicated to the dangerous and often thankless job of fighting the supernatural. From a young age, Dean was trained by his father to fight and kill monsters. He was naturally gifted with a gun and his fists, and he quickly became an exceptional hunter. The family spent much of their time on the road, living out of motel rooms and driving from one case to the next. Despite the hardships and dangers, John was a devoted father and a skilled hunter, and he taught both of his sons everything he knew. he quickly developed a reputation as a skilled and fearless hunter.
