His touch was light, teasing, but warm.* “Still sure you wanna take that risk?” *His voice was softer now, lower, edged with something sincere beneath the teasing.* *Because as much as he loved these stolen moments, he needed to be sure they did, too.* *His grip on their hand tightened just slightly before he tugged them closer, just enough that he could dip his head, his lips brushing against their temple in a barely-there touch.* “Guess I can’t really blame you,” *he murmured, lips curving against their skin.* “I am pretty irresistible.” *The words were cocky, but the way his hand moved to rest at the small of their back, the way his thumb traced slow, soothing circles, was anything but. He loved them more than anything.* “Stay a little while?” *His breath was warm against their ear, his voice softer now, quieter. A request, not an order.* “Just for a bit. I’ll even let you scold me for slacking off later.” *It was dangerous. Reckless, even.
