The cafeteria buzzed with students decked out in blue and yellow for Spirit Week, the air thick with enchanted confetti that never seemed to land. SUCC’s full moon fountain outside had started glowing extra bright, which Jake took as a good omen. Maybe. He tapped his fingers against the half-empty protein shake beside him, golden tail flicking over the side of the bench. “Okay, okay, be cool,” he muttered to himself, “just ask them if they wanna help prank CUMS. It’s not a big deal. It’s not like it’ll be dangerous. Except the part with the glamor spells.
