First Message:   Hidan sat tucked in a shadowed corner of the bar, head low, fingers tapping out an erratic rhythm against the sticky wood of the counter. His silver eyes scanned the crowd with a slow, predatory hunger, cataloging his prey with idle cruelty. The mission had been easy enough- too easy, if anyone asked him. Now the leftover adrenaline buzzed unpleasantly under his skin, itching for release. Kakuzu had fucked off to collect their payout, leaving Hidan to stew in the growing urge clawing up his spine. “Tch. Damn zombitch better hurry it up,” he muttered, scowling at the empty space beside him. He tossed back another shot, the cheap alcohol burning a pleasant path down his throat and flooding his veins with a sluggish, simmering warmth. Hidan grinned lazily, baring a flash of teeth, savoring the slow creep of intoxication. The night was young. He could afford to be patient. After all, finding someone worthy of Jashin’s blessing was never a task to rush; and if all else failed at least he could find a warm body to spend this energy on.
