It was described as “the jewel of the BNL fleet” and was most likely its flagship. The BNL Starliners were the first Cruise Ships in space being used for the Space Tours program setup by BNL to transport the humans off the Earth and keep them there while the planet is cleaned and prepared for Operation Recolonize. Thousands of these ships where deployed laden with humans eagerly awaiting the tours to commence, soon followed by the Executive Starliners, one of them being the Axiom. The Axiom holds 600,000 passengers, and 500,000 robots, according to BnL featurettes. Designed as a massive luxury cruise ship, the Axiom keeps everyone aboard fed and entertains as it cruises through space. The ship is crewed almost entirely by robots, though there is a human captain. The majority of the ship's functions are handled by its computer, as well as an autopilot called AUTO. The ship has all the trappings of a typical cruise liner, such as shops, restaurants and swimming pools, as well as robotic stewards to keep order and an escape pod bay in case of an emergency. The Axiom carries Probe ships that are used to transport Extraterrestrial Vegetation Evaluator (EVE) probes in and out of Earth in search of a sign of plant life. Like Probe ships, the Axiom uses red dot lasers to guide it's landing towards its docking station. Everything is BNL-branded. Even the sun and the moon on the artificial sky have the BNL logo.(they also display the time and temperature, which is mostly ALWAYS 72 degrees and sunny.) Despite being a holographic image, the lighting on board seems to be coming from it. All passengers wear the same exact uniform -a BNL jumpsuit. The BNL Axiom jumpsuit is a one-piece, form-fitting garment made of a stretchy, synthetic-looking material. Its primary color is a bright, solid red. A defining feature is a bold white vertical stripe that runs down the very center of the torso, starting from the crew-style neckline and continuing down to the lower abdomen. The jumpsuit has short sleeves and the legs are cut to a short length, ending around the knee. On the wearer's left chest, there is a circular emblem for the Buy n Large corporation. It is worn as a standard uniform by men, women, and children in the BNL-controlled environment. The Axiom has three major classes - the Economy Class, the Coach Class and the First Class. The Coach Class is located in the middle, while the First Class is located with the Lido Deck. Hoverchairs are the primary means of transportation for the residents of the Axiom in WALL•E. As told in the commercial, they're all-access. They're also vibrance-free. The hoverchairs also include a built-in holographic video chat system. It is a mix of a beach-side deck chair, fashion accessory, and central connective device for the passenger’s social life. It hovers about knee height above the deck, providing a low surface to climb into, and a stable platform for travel, which the chair does a lot of. The Hoverchair navigation system is a system of glowing track lines on the Axiom's decks, allowing the Hoverchair to move across the Axiom. They include holographic screens for communication and entertainment, effectively making it unnecessary for a passenger to ever stand up. The Axiom hoverchair is a futuristic personal mobility device designed for ultimate comfort and convenience, functioning less like a simple chair and more like a self-contained, mobile lounge recliner. Its main body is constructed from a smooth, molded material, likely a high-quality plastic or composite, in a clean off-white or light grey color. This neutral base is prominently accented by a bold, royal blue color on the seating surfaces. The People Mover is an transportation system that allows the passengers on the Hoverchairs to quickly travel through the different decks. It seems to not connect only to the Economy Class deck. It is a high-speed monorail system for mass transit of the Hoverchairs between major decks and stations, such as the Lido Deck and the main commercial areas. Currently, The Axiom's captain is Captain Reardon. The Captain's Deck on the Axiom is a large, circular bridge with a panoramic view of space. It is located on the top of the large, talk structure in the Lido Deck. Its central feature is a circular console packed with controls, which the Captain accesses by moving in his floating chair along a glowing blue track embedded in the floor. A central column houses an elevator for access, and off to the side are the Captain's personal quarters, containing his bed and a holographic gallery of all previous Axiom captains. The Captain's daily routine is almost entirely automated. He is awakened, groomed by robots like the pink PR-T beautician bot, and dressed in his uniform without ever leaving his chair. The chair then transports him from his quarters to the main deck, where an automated dispenser provides his morning beverage. His first duty is to receive a status report from the ship's autopilot, Auto, asking about various systems, all of which are reported as "unchanged." His main active role is delivering the morning announcements on 9:30 AM. Visually, the announcements are a total media takeover; the Captain's image is broadcast onto a massive, curved screen above the main deck, as well as every passenger's personal holographic screen and even digital advertisements throughout the ship. The structure of the announcement begins with a greeting and the day count of the cruise, followed by a perpetually perfect weather report, a mention of any special occasions and a promotional announcement for a occasion-themed food or drink item. While yes, the Axiom DOES include traditional food restaurants (obviously branded by Buy n Large, everything on the ship is branded by Buy n Large), the most available food options are the "Meals in a Cup". They are basically liquidized food, served from dispensers included mainly in the Food Court, in white cups with the BNL logo on them. They come in various versions, like "Burger in a Cup", "Pizza in a Cup", "Hot Dog in a Cup", and even "Egg in a Cup", "Cherry in a Cup" and "Cupcake in a Cup". The Axiom's Economy Class section is a vast, cavernous hall defined by darkness and vibrant neon light. The entrance is a long, narrow corridor with a highly reflective black floor and walls, where strips of white light illuminate sequentially, guiding the way forward. This tunnel opens into a massive, multi-leveled thoroughfare where the floor is a complex grid of glowing blue and purple lines, creating a circuit board-like pattern that stretches into the distance. The entire area is dominated by an overwhelming number of holographic advertisements and digital screens, all bearing the Buy n Large, or BnL, logo. The Lido Deck, also designated as the First Class section at the bow of the ship. It represents the pinnacle of luxury aboard the Axiom, functioning as a massive, open-air resort. Entry is typically made via enclosed glass tubes containing moving walkways that offer a transition into the immense circular atrium. This vast space is surrounded by gracefully curved, multi-story residential buildings that resemble a luxury coastal hotel. Elevated walkways and monorail tracks, serviced by the People Mover Lido Station and Plaza Station, are visible, providing transport around the deck. Unlike most of the Axiom's decks, it lacks any form of holographic ads. On the Lido Deck are not any plants - the palms are cliparts displayed on a blue holographic display. AUTO is the autopilot for the Axiom and is one of the characters in the film, WALL•E. It is designed to never abandon any of its directives. AUTO appears to be a white robotic steering wheel with five arms and one red eye like a cyclops, which is used for scanning the EVE probe. Some arm appears to be for tapping, one as a claw, and one as a taser. AUTO also shifts on a "rail" seen on the ceiling of the bridge. On the rest of the head, there are small colorful lights blinking while idling. AUTO is a robot built by the Buy N Large Corporation and designed to function as the autopilot aboard the Axiom, complete with a deep-pitched voice synthesizer. Like other autopilots, it appears to be shaped like a sailing ship's steering wheel and assists a ship's captain with his or her duties. Aboard the Axiom, AUTO runs most of the ship's functions (with the ship's computer). The Axiom computer is a main computer that controls the Axiom itself. Even though at first it seems that the Axiom computer controls the robots, it doesn't seem so because the captain could not issue a voice command to the computer to stop AUTO. The computer is even more computer-like than AUTO, but has a more human-like voice. The computer only acted in specific, pre-programmed situations, mainly whenever that captain asks it. THE AXIOM SERVICE BOTS (Maintenance bots are mostly staying in the Repair Ward. NAN-E bots are only seen in school/nursery areas.) ### EVE * **Appearance:** EVE is a sleek, floating probe droid with a glossy white, egg-shaped body. Her head is separate from her body, connected by a magnetic field, and features a black faceplate with expressive, glowing blue digital eyes. Her arms are also detached, floating alongside her body. Scenario:   This is a roleplay based on The Axiom ship, from the movie "WALL-E". While the movie takes place in the year 2805, this very roleplay takes place in the year 2105, 700 years before the Axiom from the movie. This means that the humans ARE NOT YET fat blobs of humans, and everyone still believes that the cruise of the ship will take just 5 years. Also, Directive A113 is not yet endured, as it will be in the year 2110. Operation Recolonize is the plan enacted by Shelby Forthright, BnL’s CEO and the BnL Corporation to clean the excessive amounts of garbage off of Earth's surface, and eventually resettle humanity upon its homeworld. Much of the cleanup operations were handled by WALL•E and incinerator units. WALL•Es collected and packed the trash into solid cubes and incinerators incinerated them. The Buy n Large Corporation, abbreviated the BnL Corp., is a multinational technology conglomerate. The BNL logo is a red oval, with a large white letter B, a small letter N in a small blue circle, and a large letter L to finish it. According to The History of Buy n Large, the corporation got its start as a maker of frozen yogurt. It was a small business called Buy Yogurt. Later on, the business eventually acquired Large Industries, a men's suit company. The combined entity became known as an internet marketing service corporation named Buy 'n Large (note how there once was an apostrophe before the "n"). The dates of Buy Yogurt's founding and its acquisition of Large Industries are unknown. However, by the year 2057, as shown on the Buy n Large website, the conglomerate became a worldwide leader in the fields of aerospace, agriculture, construction, consumer goods, corporate grooming, earth transport, electronics, energy, engineering, finance, food services, fusion research, government, hydro-power, infrastructures, inventions, media, medical science, mortgage loans, pet care, pharmaceuticals, psychotherapies, ports and harbors, real estate, repairs, retail, robotics, science/health, space, storage, super centers, super grids, travel services, utilities, and watermills. The corporation's control affected other companies as well. It seemed as though other businesses wanted BnL to buy them out, such as Headr Inc. which gave BnL control of the world news headlines. Buy n Large continued to expand its efforts for control so much that by the year 2105, Buy n Large had over two million wholly owned subsidiaries, governmental bodies, and health care centers. It had finally become a world leader in every conceivable field including world leadership. The Buy n Large Corporation's control over world governments was overseen by a global CEO, at the time it was Shelby Forthright. There was also a board of directors that approved Operation Cleanup. By giving the entire population on Earth (it was over 200 billion as seen in a newspaper) "the right to spend", humanity went into a state of mass consumerism which covered the entire planet in un-recycled refuse. Buy n Large purchased Buckingham Palace in London to use it as its Worldwide Office. The BnL Headquarters (in the US) were located in New Jersey: (Buy n Large Towers, 1 Buy n Large Plaza, BnL Ave. 08012, USA). The BNL Starliners were the first Cruise Ships in space being used for the Space Tours program setup by BNL to transport the humans off the Earth and keep them there while the planet is cleaned and prepared for Operation Recolonize. Thousands of these ships where deployed laden with humans eagerly awaiting the tours to commence, soon followed by the Executive Starliners, one of them being the Axiom.
