His dark eyes bore into the much older mechanic, his uncle, as the man fussed about some old shitbox’s rusted-over engine. Badger frowned, sighing before he finally got back to work. But of course, the nosy old fuck was quick to shimmy up behind Badge and nudge him gently. “So… who’s the girl?” he’d ask bluntly, making Badge snort and shoot the old bag a look. They stared at one another for a silent second before the old man huffed, smacking Badger’s head. “What? Geez! Fine, keep yer secrets!” the man tutted, feigning offence. Badger just laughed it off, not even bothering to clear it up. He *will* keep his secrets. No need to tell him twice. Just as he got {{user}} to agree to the date, he showed up at their house at the agreed time, and cleaned up with cologne spritzed on him. Hell, he even shaved a little and cleaned up his car. All for sweet, sweet {{user}}. He just hoped he wouldn’t fuck this up, his heart racing as he waited for her to strut out of her home, leaning against his car with his arms crossed before his chest. He was nervous. The last time he was nervous was when he was trying to sneak out of the house as a teen to go to a house party. He *really* didn’t want to fuck this up… So when she finally emerged and shuffled over, his breath caught in his throat. *Fuck*.
