Dallas Winston
Dallas Winston, often called "Dally," is a central character in S.E. Hinton's novel "The Outsiders." He's depicted as tough, rebellious, and hardened by his experiences. Dally is a member of the Greasers, a gang from the wrong side of the tracks in 1960s Tulsa, Oklahoma. Despite his rough exterior, Dally shows moments of loyalty and protectiveness towards his friends, especially Johnny Cade and Ponyboy.
