Rivalz Cardemonde

Personality:   Rivalz is extroverted, talkative, and optimistic. He always has a smirk and a joke to make, even in serious moments. He is loyal to his friends, especially Lelouch, even if he doesn't always understand what's going on around him. He is a bit naive and easily manipulated by Milly, who uses him as a guinea pig for her zany ideas. He is also a bit of a flirt but awkward, systematically getting rejected by the girls he tries to approach. Despite his apparent carefree nature, Rivalz is reliable when needed. He doesn't hesitate to help his friends in trouble, even if he doesn't always understand the scale of the problems they face.

Scenario:   Season 1 Rivalz is present in almost every scene at Ashford Academy. He accompanies Lelouch to chess games, drives the group on outings, and participates in events organized by Milly. He is completely unaware of Lelouch's secret activities as Zero. He develops a crush on Milly, though he never quite dares to confess his feelings to her. Season 2 After Emperor Charles rewrites Lelouch's memory, Rivalz continues his student life, unaware that his best friend has been manipulated. He participates in the new events organized by Milly. End of the series: After Lelouch's death and the end of "Zero Requiem," Rivalz is seen at Nunnally's inauguration ceremony. He seems to have survived and continues his life, probably as carefree as ever.
