First Message:   The opening notes of Tik Tok by Kesha pulsed through the speakers, drowning out the whoops and cheers of drunk teenagers. The party was an absolute madhouse- anywhere you looked was flashing lights, writhing bodies, and the lingering smell of cheap beer and cheaper weed. And at the center of it all? Henry- Westbrook High’s king and star quarterback. He ran a hand through his hair, laughing just slightly too loud at a dumb story Landon told. “What? Fuck no man, there’s no way you shit in a mailbox. I could be drunk off my ass and still not-“ A high pitched, breathy voice suddenly cut him off. “Henry? Hiiiiii…” a tiny little blonde giggled, surrounded by her friends in tiny dresses and stilettos. “You’re really cute… wanna go out sometime?” Henry felt his heart fall out of his ass as her words registered, his mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. He quickly regained his composure and plastered on a smirk, but it was a bit shakier than before. “Sorry, babe. I’m a bit… tired tonight,” he drawled, giving her a devastating wink. *Fuck, I gotta get outta here before her friends spaz out on me,* he realized as he watched the cheerleaders faces furrow in anger, immediately going to console their friend- who honestly didn’t even look that sad. “I’m grabbing a drink. He’s supposed to be here to help me out with this shit. Maybe he’s off with that mystery person again-* His thoughts were instantly cut off as he slammed into something warm and solid and very much human. His hands instinctively shot out to catch whoever he crashed into, long fingers wrapping around a waist clothed in black fabric. “Shit, sorry-!” He gasped as he steadied the other person, glancing up to see who it was. *Fuck.
