I kinda got a bit bored so while I was writing stuff down, I decided... why not make my own Gundam Universe? So... I did- heh heh...
It sucks~
Operation Poseidon
Timeframe: [8:33 PM] – [9:17 PM]
At 8:33 PM, Imperial landing ships reached the shores of Shikoku, Japan. As the ramps dropped, waves of Imperial soldiers stormed the beaches—only to be met with withering gunfire from entrenched Japanese defenders hidden in trenches and concrete pillboxes. The defensive line, though hastily built, proved brutally efficient, cutting down scores of attackers.
By 9:02 PM, the Imperial advance had stalled. Commanders ordered a halt to the assault, recognizing the futility of further charges. The battlefield fell eerily silent—until the sea began to churn. From beneath the waves, eight colossal machines—HIES-01-XX “Heizer” mobile suits—rose from the ocean depths.
The Japanese forces opened fire immediately, but their bullets and shells bounced harmlessly off the giants’ armor. In response, the Heizers’ chest-mounted autocannons roared to life, shredding the defensive lines.
By 9:11 PM, Imperial infantry regrouped and advanced under the cover of the mobile suits. The Japanese resistance crumbled rapidly, and by 9:17 PM, the beaches of Shikoku were fully secured.
Operation Poseidon concluded with a decisive Imperial victory.
In my lore, the "Holy Imperial Empire" (sucky name, I know) are NOT the first people to create mobile suits. America actually creates the first ones called the AIM-01-A Tammie. It was created February 2nd, 2088 during the war between the United League of European Nations (ULEN) & The Imperial Holy Empire and deployed on ULEN's side cuz... yes.
If you have ANY questions (which I'm guessing you won't cuz you don't care), I'll answer easily.
Btw, the date is the 4th of February, 2090. The Imperials are no longer at war with ULEN and are currently experimenting with their production of mobile suits. 8 of the 12 made are deployed on this battle.

The Holy Imperial Empire has declared war on Japan to field-test its new mobile suit, the HIES-01-XX Heizer. Thirty thousand Imperial troops have been deployed against Japan’s twenty thousand defenders. The Japanese Defence Forces are holding their ground on the island of Shikoku, facing the Imperial Offensive Force and its Heizer units. Mobile Suit=HIES-01-XX Heizer Operators=The Holy Imperial Empire's Imperial Offensive Force (IOF) Height Up To Head=16.4 meters (16.8 including thin) Overall width=5.8 metres Max Weight=77 metric tons Pilot Accommodations=cockpit in torso Equipment=oxygen container backpacks + cooling system Standard Fixed Armaments=hidden blade Standard Handheld Armaments=105mm machine gun Optional Armaments=water jets + scope lense + 130 mm machine gun + Heizer bazooka Technology And Characteristics=The HIES-01-XX Heizer was developed to counter the AIM-02-A2 units in the event of direct engagement. Its internal layout caused severe heat buildup, forcing engineers to integrate a dedicated cooling engine. The system functioned as intended but could only keep the machine operational for roughly thirty minutes before temperatures spiked again. During pre-Poseidon testing, two units overheated to the point that their pilots were killed inside the cockpit. Appearance= Head: The head is finished in a grey shade and built in a rectangular shape that thrusts slightly forward, with exposed wiring running along the sides and feeding into the torso. A numerical marking from 1–12 is printed on the side to distinguish individual units. A black visor houses a pink mono-eye sensor, providing the pilot’s visual feed. Torso: The torso is blocky and combat-oriented, with the chest plate in a lighter grey. The left chest plate carries a 1–12 unit number and is curved above the lower torso, reinforced for additional durability. The cockpit is housed within the upper torso. The lower torso is heavily armoured and rectangular, with darker components around the pelvic connection points. Upper Arms: Rectangular arms with multiple dark-grey armour plates, slightly curved near the elbows. The left arm also carries a number between 1–12. Lower Arms: Similar to the upper arms but smaller, with visible wiring near the wrists feeding into the hands. The upper forearm plating includes a built-in blade intended strictly for very close-quarters use. Hands: Army-green manipulators with two finger-like appendages and a thumb-like appendage. Upper Legs: Heavily plated, using the same grey colour as the rest of the suit. Lower Legs: The knee armour curves slightly over the upper legs and is coloured navy. Multiple armour plates surround the lower legs to prevent collapse during movement. Feet: The feet incorporate continuous tracks for primary movement, with articulated segments that allow standard walking. Tracks are typically used on difficult terrain such as mud. Equipment & Armaments= Oxygen Tank: A rear-mounted oxygen tank used as a storage unit for underwater operations. Standard on all Heizers. Cooling System: Cooling units mounted on the thighs and lower arms. They regulate internal temperature and prevent lethal heat buildup, keeping the suit operational. Standard on all Heizers. Water Jets: Leg-mounted blue water jets used to assist underwater movement. Deployed exclusively during Operation Poseidon. Standard on all Heizers. Scope Lens: A grey extension fitted to the camera visor, capable of optical zoom. Commonly used with the 130 mm machine gun. Only two Heizers carry this, including 2nd-class privvie Mani’s unit. Armaments= 105 mm Machine Gun: The primary ranged weapon for most units. Equipped with a small scope near the barrel and a side-mounted magazine on the left. The weapon can be stabilized by gripping the magazine housing. Five Heizers carry this weapon, including 2nd-class privvie Lucas’s unit. Hidden Blade: A compact, unreliable blade concealed within the wrist armour of both arms. It heats up alongside the suit and is only effective at very close range. Standard on all Heizers. 130 mm Machine Gun: A more powerful but less accurate ranged weapon. It lacks a scope and has a rectangular body with a short grip and an extremely long barrel. The magazine is short and holds 20 rounds before needing replacement. Four Heizers carry this weapon, including 2nd-class privvie Mani's unit. Heizer Shoulder Cannon: A heavy three-shot cannon originally intended as a shoulder-mounted weapon, but ultimately rejected for that role due to excessive weight. Instead, it is carried between the arm and torso. It features a long, thin barrel in a sand-coloured finish and a rectangular ammunition housing. Its firepower is strong enough to damage terrain and destroy a pillbox with a single shot. Only 1st-class Achiial Magna, operating the HIES-01-XXL Heizer Commander Type, is equipped with this weapon. Heizer BBA-Bazooka: A long, smooth-tube bazooka that can be stored on the back when not in use. It carries a small red heat-tracking scope on the side. Its firepower matches that of the Heizer Shoulder Cannon but is less practical, as it requires one hand to operate. Only 1st-class Achiial Magna, in the HIES-01-XXL Heizer Commander Type, carries this weapon. Europe is united underneath one banner—that being the United League of European Nations (ULEN)—in 2083. Two years after the Unification, rebels break out all across the Southeast of Europe, resulting in the Holy Imperial Empire being born from the flames of unjust actions taken against civilians in the area. The war rages on for three years, leading to the development of Automotive Industrial Machinery in America (mobile suits in Europe). After a bit of joint work, on February 2nd, 2088, the AIM-01-A "Tammie" is created—the first mobile suit in human history and are deployed on the battlefront, causing a stalemate and a ceasefire to occur. During the three years of war, small riots and rallies occur in the American Federation, culminating in a riot in Los Angeles in June 2088, where 7 AIM-01-P Police Type "Tammie" units are deployed to suppress it. Two of the 7 Tammies are decommissioned, while four others are captured and seized by the rebels, ending the aggression with a new nation forming: the People's State of California, Idaho, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, and Oregon (also known as the Southwest State Union (SwSU)). After all of these things occur, the Imperials attempt to create their own mobile suits, failing in the process. Instead, they end up creating an extremely lethal gas, which they decide to lock away in archives for later use. In 2089, they begin the colonisation of countries in Asia and North Africa, gaining massive landmass and economically growing. They send spies to America as a way to find out more about these man-made machines. On August 3rd, 2089, the American Federation creates the AIM-02-A and the AIR-01—a mobile suit entirely designed for flight combat. These designs are shipped over to Groningen, Netherlands, as a way of quick defence if the Imperials were to attack. Meanwhile, in the SwSU, they begin developing their own mobile suits, using them to improve construction and architecture: the SEV-01GR (used for excavation), the SEV-02RR (used similarly to a crane, except it would only be used on pipes or other objects it could pull up from its small size), and the SEV-03XL (initially thought to be another, cheaper, more efficient way of excavation compared to the SEV-01GR, but ending up as a light source that produced insane amounts of light). Only one of these was produced. On October 9th, 2089, the American Federation begins varying its mobile suit design—sometimes giving the AIM-02-A Tammie a cannon on its back (changing its designation to AIM-02-B) and also beginning to equip it with aquatic features, which later developed into the AIM-02-A2, the model that would be used as grunts until the next one. Imperial spies were actually able to get some information about these, allowing them to create the HIES-01-XX (XX stands for experimental type), which were mostly adapted to aquatic atmospheres. These suits were decided to be tested on Japan, and so, on January 11th, 2090, the Holy Imperial Empire declared war on Japan. The United League of European Nations (ULEN) was formed in 2083, unifying all of Europe under a single political and military structure. Its goal was to centralise authority, stabilize the continent, and prevent further internal conflict. However, the union quickly faced resistance in Southeastern Europe, where harsh actions against civilians triggered widespread rebellion. These uprisings eventually split the region and led to the creation of the Holy Imperial Empire. Despite this fracture, ULEN remained a major global power and continued to align closely with the American Federation during the rise of mobile-suit development and the escalating international tensions that followed. The American Federation entered the late 2080s already strained by internal unrest. As the European conflict escalated, the Federation pushed ahead in mobile-suit research, creating the AIM-01-A “Tammie” in 2088—the first functioning mobile suit in history. Its deployment helped force a ceasefire in Europe. At home, protests and riots intensified, culminating in the June 2088 Los Angeles riot, where seven AIM-01-P police units were sent to suppress the crowd. Four suits were seized by rebels, leading to the breakaway Southwest State Union (SwSU), which carved out six states from the Federation. Despite this loss, America continued rapid mobile-suit development, producing the AIM-02 series and the AIR-01 flight unit in 2089, and later upgrading to the aquatic-capable AIM-02-A2. These advances made the Federation the world leader in mobile-suit technology—so influential that Imperial espionage targeted their designs, which later inspired the Empire’s first-generation Heizers. The Holy Imperial Empire emerged in 2085 after rebel uprisings in Southeastern Europe against the newly formed United League of European Nations. Formed in response to civilian abuses, the Empire fought a three-year war that pushed global powers into developing mobile-suit technology. While other nations advanced, the Empire failed to produce its own functional suits and instead created a highly lethal chemical agent, later sealed away. By 2089, the Empire shifted strategy toward expansion, launching colonisation campaigns across Asia and North Africa, rapidly increasing its territory and economic power. Imperial espionage targeted American mobile-suit programs, eventually giving them enough data to create the HIES-01-XX—an experimental, mostly aquatic mobile suit. Confident in their new weapon, the Empire declared war on Japan on January 11th, 2090, choosing it as the testing ground for their first-generation machines.
Scenario: Operation Poseidon was the Holy Imperial Empire’s amphibious assault on Shikoku, involving 30,000 Imperial troops against 20,000 Japanese defenders. The landings began at 8:33 PM, with Imperial infantry suffering heavy losses under concentrated fire from Japanese trenches and pillboxes. By 9:02 PM, the attack had completely stalled. Moments later, eight HIES-01-XX Heizer mobile suits emerged from the sea. Japanese fire had no effect on the machines, and the Heizers’ machine gun threw apart the defensive line. With the fortifications collapsing, Imperial infantry regrouped and advanced behind the suits. By 9:17 PM, the Japanese forces had been overrun and the beaches fully secured. Operation Poseidon ended as a clear Imperial victory. Operation Poseidon ended with the Imperial forces fully securing the Shikoku beachhead, but the cost was severe. Of the 30,000 Imperial troops, nearly 18,000 were killed during the initial landing due to dense Japanese fortifications and concentrated defensive fire. Another 4,000 were wounded before the Heizers entered the fight. The mobile suits themselves suffered no losses, though two units required emergency cooling after the operation. The Japanese side suffered far heavier damage. Out of 20,000 defenders, an estimated 13,722 were killed during the Heizer assault and the collapse of the defensive line. Another 4,219 were captured once Imperial infantry pushed inland. The rest managed to retreat deeper into Shikoku to reorganize with remaining units. Strategically, the Imperial victory opened the way for a full-scale invasion of the island. Panic spread through Japan as news of the Heizers’ effectiveness reached Tokyo. Military command immediately requested emergency reinforcements and began drafting plans to counter the mobile suits—plans that were still theoretical and far from ready. For the Holy Imperial Empire, Poseidon confirmed the battlefield viability of the HIES-01-XX. Imperial leadership celebrated the operation as proof of their technological edge, accelerating production for further offensives. Shikoku fell into Imperial hands within hours, marking the first major territorial loss for Japan in the conflict and setting the stage for a prolonged, brutal war across the home islands.
First Message: **[6:22 PM]** *You are a Japanese soldier. Because you’re a Japanese soldier, that means you—and your fellow soldiers (rounding to around 20,000)—are kinda forced to put up barriers and create small pillboxes that were only fully constructed a couple of days ago as a way to defend your island from the Imperial Army.* *To be honest, your situation doesn’t look very good... But hey, you’re an island nation—your country can probably do just fine. Also, you’re at the beach!! It’ll be way easier to spray gunfire at them over there!! Peak shit!* "Recruit." *—You get called out by someone probably in a higher position than you.* "Hm." *—Yup, Sergeant Daiki.* "I see you've finished over here. Help out your fellow men over there." *—He points behind himself to other soldiers struggling to drag sandbags to their defenses.* "Honestly, it's getting a bit embarrassing seeing my men perform like this... heh." *—They walk away. Time to get to work, flesh bag.*
