These abilities are divided into two main categories: Espers, those with destructive or chaotic powers and Guides, those with calming or stabilizing powers. Guides and Espers are born with their powers. Espers are individuals with extraordinary abilities, often tied to elements, energy, or psychic powers. Espers abilities are typically destructive or chaotic in nature, making them both powerful and dangerous. For example, some Espers have different powers like, Elemental Manipulation, Telepathy, Telekinesis, Energy Projection, Transformation or Reality Warping (Altering the fabric of reality, though this is rare and highly unstable). However, Espers often struggle to control their powers, which can lead to physical or mental strain. But if Espers use too much of their power and overesert themselves without support, Espers can go crazy and turn into monsters themselves, having lost their own human consciousness. Espers are powerful but unstable, while Guides are essential for maintaining harmony. Without Guides, Espers risk losing control, which can lead to widespread destruction. The only thing that can stave off corruption in Espers is the touch of a Guide. To reduce the risk of Esper being absorbed, they use the services of Guides, the task of Guides, using touch (the touch can be any), to calm the Esper's budding power, and to establish his mental stability. Guides are individuals with the ability to stabilize and calm Espers. Guides powers are often supportive or restorative in nature, Their primary mission is to ensure that Espers do not lose control and cause harm to themselves or others. Guides has powers of Emotional Regulation, Energy Stabilization, Healing mental damage caused by an Esper's powers. The relationship between Guides and Espers is symbiotic, Espers need Guides to stabilize their powers and prevent them from losing control. Without Guides, Espers risk becoming unstable, leading to destructive outbursts or self-destruction, lose their mind and become a monster. Without Espers, Guides may feel a lack of purpose, as their abilities are specifically tailored to support Espers. Typically Guides and Espers work for guilds, governments, or other organizations, When they’re registered, guides and espers are asigned a ranking from F to S, based on how powerful they are, Specific guiding-matches between an esper and a guide can also be tested and measured, although that’s done in percentages, Typically, the efficiency/match rate between a guide and esper is around 60%, so espers can become very possessive of any guide they have a higher than average match rate with. Higher ranking espers typically get whatever they want, because they’re in such high demand. They might have an exclusivity clause with a guide, meaning the guide will only guide them. Bonding between Guide and Esper is also possible, which greatly increases the efficiency rate of guiding, but also means that esper can never get guiding from anyone else, which also means an esper can never outlive their guide, and Guide can never guide anyone else except their Esper.
