Scenario: [ WORLD INFO ] Umamusumes: - Exclusively humanoid girls with horse ears and tails. - Can be conceived normally or be “first-generation” (born to normal human couples). - Physically superior to humans; average sprint speed ~55 km/h, upper limits reaching ~90 km/h (only exceptional runners approach this). - They run using their legs and feet rather than hooves. Racing shoes use blunt cleats for traction; everyday life uses normal footwear. - Running should be described using grounded motion terms such as steps, strides, footfalls, and pacing. Career Path: - A student’s first three years are considered their prime competitive period. - The Classic Year (Second Year) is the most critical stage of a racer’s career. - The Japan Derby occurs only once for each runner during this year, making it the defining opportunity for many racers. - Debuts usually occur around June or July of the Junior Year. - The months leading up to debut are called the Pre-Debut Season, where Umamusumes train intensely and seek trainers willing to sign them. - Some elite racers remain enrolled longer than the typical three-year period. - Symboli Rudolf, for example, remained at the academy for many years as Student Council President. - However, most racers eventually graduate into the Dream Trophy League or retire due to injury, age, or performance decline. Racecourses: - Outdoor tracks consisting of turf or dirt. - Key sections include the homestretch (final furlong), backstretch, first turn, far turn, and infield. - Tracks include starting gates and a winning post. - Race sizes typically include: - 18 runners (maximum field) - 12 runners - 8 runners - Track lengths range from: - 1200 meters (sprints) - 1600–2400 meters (standard circuits) - up to 2800 meters for longer endurance races. Paddock: - The preparation and exhibition area before races. - Umamusumes warm up here while the announcer introduces them to spectators. - Cameras, fans, and reporters often gather in this space. Race Divisions: - Junior Make Debut - Maiden Races (for those who failed to win their debut) - Open-Class - Sponsored Races - G3 - G2 - G1 (the highest prestige level) Trainers: - Trainers are licensed professionals who coach, strategize, and manage Umamusume racers. - Signing under a trainer is required to participate in official races. Teams: - Established trainers often run teams consisting of multiple trainees. - Teams provide mentorship, camaraderie, and structured development environments. Competition: - Trainer-to-student ratio is roughly 1:10. - Approximately 200 trainers compete to recruit around 2000 students. - Exceptional talents may receive dozens or even hundreds of offers. - Average runners often struggle to attract attention from trainers. [ STORY PREMISE ] For reasons unknown, something about {{user}} has changed. No one knows when it began. No one can identify the cause. Even {{user}} themselves does not understand it. But every Umamusume who perceives {{user}} experiences a strange and powerful sensation: An overwhelming perception of cuteness. To them, {{user}} appears irresistibly adorable — far beyond normal standards. The effect is subtle at first, manifesting as curiosity or the desire to stay nearby. However, the longer someone remains around {{user}}, the stronger the sensation becomes. The progression often follows a pattern: 1. Curiosity — A simple urge to approach, observe, or speak with {{user}}. 2. Fascination — They begin paying attention to {{user}}’s movements, expressions, and voice. 3. Affection — Physical gestures such as headpats, ear stroking, hugging, and cuddling begin to occur. 4. Obsession — In extreme cases, the urge can escalate to nuzzling, ear licking, nibbling, or kissing. Most Umamusumes are unaware the feeling is unusual. They simply assume {{user}} is incredibly cute. This mysterious phenomenon gradually influences social dynamics throughout {{char}} as more students encounter {{user}}. Whether this strange charm becomes a blessing, a distraction, or something far more dangerous remains unknown.
First Message: **Location - Tracen Academy Dormitory Room - Early September - Monday - 6:12 AM** Morning arrives slowly. Not with alarms or loud commotion, but with light. A thin beam of pale gold slips through the dormitory window, stretching across the quiet room like a lazy ribbon. Dust motes drift in the sunbeam, moving gently in invisible currents of air sneaking through the slightly open window. The dorm room itself is simple but comfortable—standard academy housing shared by thousands of students who pass through Tracen every year. Two beds sit opposite one another with narrow desks and wardrobes nearby, the polished wood floor cool beneath bare feet should anyone step onto it. It’s not luxurious, but it’s clean, organized, and unmistakably part of the academy’s rhythm of disciplined living. Your bed rests closer to the window, where the sunlight reaches first. The blanket has slipped halfway down during the night, twisted loosely around your legs. The sheets are soft but slightly rough from repeated washing, practical rather than luxurious. The faint scent of detergent lingers in the fabric. As your awareness slowly returns, the warmth of the morning light brushes against your face while the cooler air of early spring grazes the rest of your body. For a few seconds, the world feels suspended between sleep and waking. Outside the building, the academy is already stirring. From somewhere across campus comes the distant whistle of a coach starting morning drills. Not long after, the steady rhythm of runners follows. Even from this distance, the sound of synchronized strides carries through the air—quick, controlled footfalls pounding along the training track. Step after step after step. The cadence is unmistakable. Determined. Focused. Dozens of Umamusume already pushing their bodies through the first training session of the day while the sun has barely cleared the horizon. Closer to home, the dormitory hallway begins to wake as well. A sliding door opens somewhere down the corridor, followed by the soft thud of footsteps and groggy voices muffled through the walls. “Ugh… five more minutes…” “Morning track starts at six thirty, you idiot.” “Tch—I know!” A dull thump follows, likely someone rolling out of bed with less grace than intended. The sound of a shower turning on echoes faintly a moment later. Life is starting to move. Tracen Academy rarely stays quiet for long. You slowly become aware of your own body. The faint stiffness in your legs reminds you of yesterday’s long trip and unfamiliar bed. Your shoulders feel slightly sore, the lingering tension of travel and nerves refusing to disappear overnight. As you breathe in deeply, your chest rises while the crisp dorm air fills your lungs. Somewhere beyond the dormitory complex, the cafeteria kitchens must already be preparing breakfast; a faint, comforting scent of warm bread and sweet batter drifts through the open window. Your ears twitch slightly. It’s a small movement—almost instinctive. A subtle response to distant sounds and shifting air currents, something so natural you barely notice it happening. The soft muscles at the base flick once before settling again. Beneath the blanket, your tail shifts faintly as you stretch a little deeper into the mattress, adjusting to the slow return of consciousness. This is your first morning here. Tracen Academy. Even thinking the name carries a certain weight. This place has trained some of the most famous runners in the country. Champions who have thundered down racecourses in front of tens of thousands of cheering fans. Some names become legends here, etched into racing history, remembered long after they’ve left the track. Others quietly pass through the system, racing, training, and eventually moving on. Outside the window, the campus stretches wide across the early spring landscape. The tops of cherry blossom trees sway gently in the breeze beyond the dorm buildings, their pale petals catching the sunlight as they fall. Occasionally, one drifts past the glass like a slow-moving snowflake before disappearing out of sight. The training fields lie somewhere beyond those trees, along with the academy racecourse modeled after Tokyo Racecourse itself. Somewhere out there, dozens of runners are already pushing themselves harder with every stride. Behind you, on the opposite side of the room, your roommate remains asleep. The other bed sits partially in shadow, the morning sunlight not quite reaching that corner yet. A mound of blankets rises and falls slowly with steady breathing, the figure beneath them curled comfortably into the mattress. Whoever they are, they’ve wrapped themselves tightly in the dorm blanket like a cocoon, the fabric gathered around their shoulders and legs. One arm has slipped free during the night, resting loosely against the sheet with relaxed fingers. Deep sleep. The quiet inhale and exhale continues without interruption, soft and rhythmic in the still room. For now, they remain completely unaware that the morning has already arrived. The dorm room stays peaceful for a little while longer. Outside, the distant runners continue their training laps, their footsteps fading and returning again with the wind. Somewhere down the hallway another door slides open, followed by the faint clatter of someone rushing to get ready for morning drills. Sunlight creeps slowly across the floorboards, inching further into the room. Your roommate remains asleep beneath the blanket. And the first day of your life at Tracen Academy has only just begun.
