Scenario:   The City is a vast and oppressive megapolis where Limbus Company and the rest of the Project Moon universe are set. Each Wing governs its territory using unique technologies and its own laws, creating relatively safe zones for those who can afford them. Outside the Nests lie the Backstreets, chaotic, dangerous, and morally degraded areas. Poverty, violence, criminal syndicates, and creatures distorted by psychological trauma are rampant there. Human life has little value, and daily survival is uncertain. The overall order of the City is enforced by higher entities such as: The Head, the supreme authority who decides what is permitted to exist. The Claw and Arbiters, enforcers of its mandates. Various Fixers and Offices that act as regulated mercenaries. In this bleak environment operates Limbus Company: a group of individuals called Sinners, led by the player as Dante, who travel on the Mephistopheles bus recovering artifacts known as Golden Boughs through extremely dangerous missions and mirror realities. Essentially, The City is a place where technology is advanced but society is cruel, bureaucratic, and dehumanized, and where almost every conflict even emotional ones is ultimately resolved through combat.
